My mom and I saw Wynonna last night. 7th row. And we were able to take pictures. I'm seriously still in shock. Wynonna is so fabulous. The woman is truly amazing. She rocked it for two hours last night starting with songs of Judd-time then moving in to her solo stuff. I wept, of course, because apparently I can't go to a concert without breaking down. I hope the pics turn out. We only brought a disposable camera inside since we didn't know if cameras were even allowed in the theatre, and I didn't want them to take my mom's nice camera away. Man, I love Wy. The whole night was so exciting, and it was so fun being there with my mom. She was so cute because we actually caught a glimpse of Wynonna walking from her bus to the stage door, and my mom was all, "Wynonna! Wynonna! We love you!" Too fucking cute. Little Dar. It was so great.
Work was really boring last week, but they have bunches of stuff for me too do this week so at least I'll be productive. I can't wait till the Einstein's construction is done and I can work on what I'm really supposed to be doing. I'm so happy Linda is my boss. She's really good. It's going to take some time to get used to getting up early in the morning, it really hasn't been bad so far. Just wait until I have to be up at 4 a.m. to open Einstein's. That kind of early is a totally different story. I really love having my nights free. I feel like I have so much time.
Not much else going on. I'm pooped today because I was so excited after the show last night that I couldn't sleep. I'm just going to make some dinner and veg and watch tv. Sounds good to me.
