^_^ ミッシェル,誕生日おめでとう!^_^
Hope you have a great birthday!!!
Level-up tests are finished, which kind of saddens me because I actually have to work again. I have a full weekend, as we have to work both Saturday and Sunday. I have one class on Saturday (4 hours), but three classes on Sunday (10 hours). I'm really not looking forward to it... X_X
There's been a semi-confirmed rumor going around that Tales of Graces F for the PS3 is set to release in the West. The whole thing started when Rich, a member of Bandai Namco's NA branch left an interesting message on facebook.
"Hey guys! I'm Richard Bantegui, aka "FilthieRich," the Community Manager for Namco Bandai Games. If you've got any thoughts, requests or suggestions about any of our games such as Tekken, SoulCalibur, PAC-MAN and yes, even Tales, let's chat"
There were about a thousand plus comments, most of which were asking for Tales games, most specifically Tales of Graces F and Tales of Vesperia PS3.
A few days after that, this popped up:
http://www.ataleoftworichards.com/ Each day the image is more distorted. It seems now there is a Tekken logo and a Pac-Man logo in it. So some people think that Bandai Namco might be releasing more than just Tales of Graces. One wonders if SoulCalibur is next. Unfortunately, we won't know until Feburary 2, 2011. Until then, let's cross our fingers and hope for the best.
Ordered Nier for the PS3 on Amazon. I originally was gonna wait till I was in the States, but the seller only had three copies left, and I figured since it was more reasonably priced than Gamestop and had free shipping I might as well take advantage of it before it's gone. None of the rest had free shipping, after all. So now I have four PS3 games. Yay. I'm still undecided on Star Ocean 4 and Resonance of Fate, which are the other two PS3 games I'm looking at. I saw SO4 for a reasonable price on Gamestop, but the only locations with copies are kind of out of my way (not to mention the tax in that area is killer). As for Resonance of Fate....I've heard a lot of mixed things about it. My one friend has a copy of the game, though, so I might try it out and see if I like it.
Got my H1N1 shot today at the hospital near my work. The Korean hospital was awesome. We were in and out in about forty minutes, and apparently I have good blood and heart pressure. The shot actually made my arm a bit sore for a little while, but I seem to be pretty much recovered by now. I seriously though this H1N1 craze was all over, but they told us we'd need to get the shot if we were leaving the country. I could have gotten it in the US, but since the hospital is right next to my work and my co-workers were going to go get it today anyway, I decided to tag along and just get it over with. 30 bucks later, I am fully capable of going back to the US and protected against H1N1. All right!
For my F-list who has been to Japan, what did you do about money? This has been kind of bugging me. I've heard that Japan is a very cash-based society, but I'd feel weird about carrying a bunch of cash around... Also, how much money would you recommend bringing if we're planning on staying in Japan for two weeks? I'm thinking 1,500 to 2,000 USD, but I really have no idea how much is good. Any tips or bits of advice? Thanks in advanced!
