<*> Had a pretty busy weekend. Yesterday my friend and I headed into Seoul with one of my coworkers. We got a transformer for her Playstation 3. They had a Gundam store exhibit thing, which of course I had to see. I was disappointed to see that the only series I knew there was Seed and Seed Destiny, and I don't even know any Gundams from those shows since I haven't really seen them.
No Sandrock. Not Deathscythe. It was very disappointing.
<*> Went to Namsan Tower afterward. I don't know why, but for some reason I love going there. Maybe it's all the greenery; or maybe it's because I like being so high up without the fear of falling. Whatever the reason, I was glad to go back. We were pretty high up, so it was freezing cold, but I had a good time and we took a LOT of photos. I think I maxed out one of my batteries and almost killed another taking pictures of the tower.
<*> I've been surrounded by so much Korean lately that even though I'm not studying it currently, I find it sneaking into my speech. Not full sentences or anything, but every so often I'll reply with "chinccha" instead of really and "ne" instead of yes or what. Today my friend was asking me if I had my DS with me and I hastily replied "oneul opsoyo", or "I don't have it today". I'm a little worried this is going to carry over into my life back in America, at least for a little while. But at the same time it's kind of fun to see myself become more comfortable using the language. I just worry what kind of toll it's going to have on my Japanese. Occasionally when I try to speak Japanese Korean will come out instead (i.e. konna jikan ga opsoyo). Hopefully going to Japan this March will help rid me of this.
<*> I've been looking at some Fragile guides the other day because I've been having a problem crossing a super fragile bridge and wanted to see if people had any ideas on how to get past. I gamefaqued it and found out I'm nearly to the end of the game. The sad thing is that I have about 11 hours clocked into the game, and it's not like I've never gotten lost in this game or didn't know what to do. I knew Fragile was short, but come on! I was worried that I'd beat Muramasa in under 30 hours, but I guess I should be more concerned with beating Fragile in under 20. X_X
Once I finish Fragile I should go back to Muramasa and finish that so I can go back to Arc Rise Fantasia. And after that...I guess it'll either be KoR again or my handhelds. I've got a lot of catching up to do, as I have yet to beat a handheld game other than Rune Factory and Tales of the Tempest. For some reason I just seem to have a problem getting into handheld games. I can sit and play consoles for hours, but with handhelds I feel the need to stop every hour or so and do something else. I have a few guesses as to why that is, but I can't pinpoint any specific one.
Handheld-wise, I have:
+ FF4
+ Hearts
+ Innocence
+ Destiny 2
+ Eternia
+ Rebirth
+ VS
+ SO1
+ SO2
to finish. But I'm not sure which one I want to play next...
<*> Next weekend is Christmas! It's strange how fast time flies. After Thanksgiving everything seemed to move so fast, and here we are at Christmas already. We're planning on going to Lotte World, but my co-workers are also planning a Christmas party, so I have no idea what I'll be doing on Christmas. Regardless, I'm sure I'll have a good time.
