"Madness" Indeed.

So. Last night was crazy.

My parents arrived, first of all. This is Parents' Weekend after all, so they'll be here until early Monday morning. First thing we did was go out to dinner at Moonhadows. I had my first steak in more than two months there. Half of it is still in my fridge. (Ribeye on Monday...mmm...) It was unbelievably good.

Then my mom went back to the hotel (she flew out here with a cold, yechh) and my dad and I went to Midnight Madness. It's basically a huge pep rally to kick off the basketball teams' seasons. The highlight for the parents is a chance to make a shot from half court to win free tuition. They had a raffle to see who got the chance. Guess who won.

Yeah.

So my dad made the shot. It was short by maybe a foot. But it was AWESOME.

My dad is disappointed with himself for not making it. I told him that it was amazing that we even got the chance, and he did pretty darn well, considering he'd been up at 6, packing, on a plane, and basically going all day. My daddy = win.

*totally a daddy's girl, and proud of it, thanks*

I went to Ralph's with a few of my sorority sisters after that (because everything else in Malibu was closed). That's the reason I'm having a fruit pie and Coke for breakfast. ^^; (I did not wish to eat my muffin. I am dumb that way.)

And the General came to visit last night, so I have that to deal with for the next few days. (Every time I have to "deal with it," I'm tempted to wing one of my "dealing devices" at the Superior. Just because. XD) The weird thing about it this time is, not only am I on the same schedule as my friends, I'm also on the same schedule as some of my friends whom I only know over the internet. That's actually quite creepy. 0.o

Today is pedicures and shopping, followed by the "casual banquet" catered by the school and the PIT (Pepperdine Improv Troupe) performance tonight. PIT = win. I nearly busted a gut at their last performance, and I am very much looking forward to this one.

So, until then: cheers!

parents, sorority, friends
