I'm not sure why, but it still baffles me that humanity in general can continue on with its daily life even after their world leader has just been assasinated in a violent, bloody mess right in front of them by something that was clearly inhuman. Its as though the entire city has been brainwashed, although for that to happen I assume the general ( Read more... )

The government loyalists are mourning privately but swallowing everything the government tell them about what happened, and the anti-government types are celebrating and waiting to see what the next guy's like. That's how I figure it, anyway.

But you're right. It is pretty pathetic how everyone's going around like nothing happened. I don't get it either.

And what about you?

So far I seem to be the only person interested in what happened, working by myself doesn't particularly bother me, in fact I prefer it, but the lack of information is bothersome.

A bit of both. But unlike them, I actually want to know what happens. I can't believe there's not more of a stir about it. It's better than there being riots in the streets, but still... complete apathy?

No, not cover it up, they'd be stupid to do that. But they're not telling anyone what actually happened, and instead letting speculation run wild. They're distracting people.

I know, I know. A lot of people are still in denial that those sorts of things really exist, though.

People are idiots, they refuse to see what is right in front of them.

They see it, but they don't want to believe it.

It's no surprise so many get killed.

I guess. But... they'll believe someday, they have to.

You have too much faith in humanity.

It's more faith in basic common sense...

...You know how that's going to turn out.

...it's not a very reliable thing to have faith in, is it...?

No. What surprises me is that you've only just started to question the level of common sense the great majority of these wretched people have.
