Report: Ashita no Joe filming (May 3, 2010)
Here are a few that came out for May 3rd! Sounds like an extremely exciting day, they're at the climax!!! I really really can't wait to see the final product! XDDD

Today I was there for the afternoon.
The filming site was very full. Because it was indoors, it was very hot.
The scene that was filmed is the intense, heated climax. After rehearsing a few times, filming began!
Pi, the staff and the audience concentrated hard in order to create an integrated and exciting scene!
Every time the director called OK, everyone applauded like they couldn't stop, there was a lot of enthusiasm.
In the second half, the scene filmed seemed to be quite amazing, but because of something with the equipment it had to be redone.
But this scene was the final one today
Joe and Riikishi were improvising the entire time, it was very intense!
Joe's roar appeared too, the director called Ok.
He was hugged passionately by Kagawa-san, Pi who was patted on the head was extremely cute
And then, we applauded the staff who worked hard all this time too. (lol)
Today's Pi, finally it appeared, Joe's hair.
He seemed very spirited, and smiled a lot.
During the break in the evening, he spoke to everyone with a mic... But I don't remember what he said... sorry.
Today's souvenir, it was finally Joe's red glove! Even though everyone joked around saying it was a cherry or a dried plum... Finally it's red!

Pi-chan came out at 9.10 am
My friend who went with me said, "Pi! Pi!!!" but I didn't find him at all
When I finally noticed him, he was already in the boxing ring~~~

When did he get in.. (lol)
Appeared wearing a black robe!!
And then, as soon as he took off the robe
The audience would applaud, scream, made a lot of noise
Staff: "This is the costume!"
Everyone cracked up.
There's no better costume than this~
The actor for Wolf (I think it was Wolf, if I'm wrong I'm sorry)
When he took off his robe, he was extremely muscular, everyone applauded for him too!
Pi-chan... Lost weight and all, I won't say that.. I think it's more muscular.
A really trained body, that's how they are right?
Pi-chan's pecs were always very built, I thought at first that it was more than boxers usually have...
To my surprise, his pecs suitably shrank down
Became the body of a boxer
Every time he moved, the way his muscles rippled
So.. so beautiful~~
His hair too, I thought his bangs would be kinda heavy~~
But not at all, soft, flowing black hair
It's hard to believe that he is the same person as Aizawa-sensei.
Pi-chan started filming from the scene where he fell down
Seriously, the way he fell down, so adorable
When he was waiting for filming to begin, his legs were in a M shape~
Ya~~~da~~~, what a great view
From the shorts I could... peek in secretly... ohoho
And, he also... when he was standing near the side of the ring,
Totally defenselessly, he gave a..
Very big, very big...
Yawn (lol)
When he was having makeup put on, he leaned his head against the rope, closed his eyes, quietly let makeup be put on him
When it was done...
Uwah!!

We could hear Pi-chan's voice too. When we were waiting for the scene to begin, Tange-san (Kagawa-san) and Pi were chatting
Pi's smile!!!!
And we could hear his laughter too, like, "Ahahahaha"
Hearing that laughter, the audience screamed, "Kya~~~~~~", and Kagawa-san looked at everyone with a "what's wrong?" expression, and everyone laughed again.
Heard Pi-chan's "Ahahahaha" several times.
I didn't know what they were discussing, but they kept looking at their wrists and conversed animatedly.
It can't be something like the hairs on their hands, right~
Pi seemed to have done a move like in Thriller..
And it was with the gloves on
The atmosphere at the filming site was really great, seeing Pi-chan's contented expression, I really felt happy.
Definitely, it will become a great piece of work.Pi didn't really mind, but the other actor seemed to feel really bad

JoePi's eyes were so round, so big, just like Bambi
His arms and legs were so thin, his body is really built, perfect
The person I went with (male) saw Pi while he was waiting in line for the bathroom. Pi had walked down from the second floor, tilted his face towards the sun and closed his eyes, he stood like that for a while. My friend said that even as a male, he thought Pi was lethally beautiful~

Pi leaned his chin on the ropes surrounding the ring, closed his eyes and obediently let his makeup artist fix his makeup.
He seemed to have fallen asleep, because his head was nodding slightly.
One of his costars didn't realize, and put his hand on the rope so that it moved, and Pi woke up with a start, and raised his head

From a SMAP (Kusanagi Tsuyoshi) fan
Being able to be an extra is great, this one sentence is enough to summarize my feelings~
I woke up at 3:30am, went to be an extra first thing in the morning!
Several scenes were filmed in the morning. The one that left the greatest impression for me was when Joe came and walked into the ring.
He had a towel over his head, and he ripped it off roughly when he went into the ring. Instantly, all the lights surrounded him, and I couldn't help but think that he was born to be bathed in light this way.
When they were checking on the small monitor in the corner, Kagawa-san's "Kakkoi!", we heard it over here too.
"That's for sure!" People who thought this, and smiled proudly, there were many Pi fans like this right?
The commentator for the match introduced them like, "Blue team, .... Yabuki Jooooooe!", and the same, "Riikishi Touuuru!" and it really felt like we were at a real boxing match
After they were announced, Joe kinda made a pose, but that.... that was... (lol)
But after the director gave some advice, just like Pi-chan
He managed to do it~~~
In the afternoon, the second half of the extras came, there were more than 1000 people.
Filming was for the match with Riikishi.
While they were fighting, the camera filmed them from the outside from every direction, so there had to be spectators on every side.
This scene... I was really moved...
There were two scenes in the first half, two in the second. At first they woudl test the filming, then begin to practice the choreographed actions, and the real filming should be improvised and filmed in one shot.
Since they had to fight each other, it was a scene which could not be redone.
My friend who was an extra a few days ago said, under similar conditions, "During practice, Pi didn't really hit Iseya-san.. So he was asked, 'Use more strength, hit him like this', but he still couldn't.. Because Pi is really gentle~"
Hearing this I couldn't help but laugh
It's true, during practice, they usually didn't really hit each other's bodies. During the real filming, rather than really hitting each other, as long as it looks like they're hitting each other, that's good enough, right? (I think)
I don't really know much about boxing. Iseya-san's movements, the way he punched, you could really feel his strength and skill.
Pi-chan's boxing was soft and graceful
Pi-chan is more skilled at being beat up (lol)
During practice, he accidentally hit Iseya-san's head, "Ah! I'm sorry!", this happened too.
Next to Iseya-san, Pi seemed a size smaller. During breaks in the filming, he gave a little brother kind of feeling~
"Is it better if I do it this way?" "Hai", that kind of feeling.
Even though it was just filming, the fighting scenes needed everyone to work hard together. Everyone yelled wholeheartedly, and the audience was very forceful and compelling.
The match went very well, but at the very end, because of a problem with the equipment, it had to be redone.
We could see it again! and.... I really feel bad for the two of them.. Both thoughts appeared at once (sweatdrop)
When they returned to the ring, everyone applauded hard.
Iseya-san raised his fist in response, and Pi-chan... he bowed to everyone.
An idol who will bow this way, it's a really precious thing......
Filming was completed successfully, everyone applauded, passionately applauded.
Kagawa-san and Mammoth Nishi-san were not a part of this scene, but they stayed at the filming site to watch over the two. As soon as the fighting scene was done, they immediately went into the ring, and gave actions that said "great job!".
I was thinking, will there be any fanservice here~ Then I saw Kagawa-san ruffle Pi-chan's hair, and hugged him....
No matter how many doramas and movies he's filmed before, they're very very tiring, especially the boxing theme this time, having to lose weight and train. That's why the people around him watching, the staff and costars, everyone especially wanted to take care of him, right?
Did he get injured? During the second half of filming he seemed to pay a lot of attention to the side of his stomach, kept stretching.
I really hope he wasn't injured.
Filming was supposed to end at 5pm, but after this fight scene was done it was already 7pm.
Some extras left first, but most people stayed.
Because of this, Pi-chan thanked everyone, and of course, bowed again.
Then, the staff directed him to go back in from the actors' exit, but gestured like, "nono, I'll go from here", and walked through the main exit.
At that time, everyone screamed~
I was very lucky, the exit was directly below where I was. Pi-chan raised his head and looked over at us, nodding, and then went inside.
His eyes are so charismatic~
Walking over here especially, it was a very Pi-chan-like thing to do to give fanservice.
Pi-chan with the mouth guard on, it seemed a bit like he had buck teeth, it was a bit silly but really cute.
Today's souvenir was a little red glove.
That scene that had to be redone, the couple of minutes before filming began, he kinda pep talked himself in a deep voice. That kind of voice, it was the first time I heard it... That really was a difficult scene, right..
The Pi-can from this day, it really let me realize a lot of things
In the future, when I'm in a position where I have no choice but to work hard , I'll squeeze this little red glove..
Feels that doing this will give me the strength to continue.
Next year, when the movie comes out, if it can make everyone say, "it's great that Yamashita was the one who played Yabuki Joe", that would be really wonderful.
I believe that everyone will definitely say so!
