Report: Ashita no Joe filming (May 2, 2010)
Here are the May 2nd reports!
1. Recently, the set for the movie was opened, and people went to see it.
The Bridge of Tears, the houses along the main street, the river and riverbank are all completed
The staff said that filming will continue until early June, the schedule is probably even tighter than originally planned.
2. During filming one day, Pi walked over to the director to ask a question about how to act the scene
He pointed in the script, "Right here~..", with his Doraemon hands...
My friends made fun of him, "How could anyone know where you're pointing with gloves like that..." (lol)
3. From a middle aged male fan of the original:
At lunch they gave us bentos.
There was tonkatsu!
As I was eating,
X: "Good morning. Please take care of me".
Me: "Please take care of me".
I thought it was a very polite staff member at first
The instant X passed by me, I finally realized (￣?￣)
Isn't that Yamashita Tomohisa himself?
In person, his face is very thin, his legs were very thin too.
It looks like he lost about 5 kg. Extremely thin.
4. From an extra who was only there for the morning:
When he entered the boxing ring, he was supposed to walk straight forward, but he suddenly turned 90 degrees, I was surprised!
The way he stood with his legs crossed was very cute too☆
In order to keep his bangs neat, the way they were clipped with a hair clip was really cute~
The way he did push ups and trained his muscles was very attractive (heart)
During all this, the kind words to the extras, our tension was up!
"Please support us in the afternoon too." He especially walked out of the ring to say this to us.
To the extras who were there since morning, and were planning to stay until late at night, "Are you okay?" ☆
Hearing Yamashita-san's voice, any exhaustion immediately flew away (lol)
Everyone's eyes turned heart shaped.
Seeing the male extras being pleased with this considerateness too, I was very happy.
Tange-san not only helped Pi take off his glove, but when he helped Pi put it back on, he very kindly tightened the string for Pi too.
How can be so gentle~ ☆
Today I went home very happily too.
5. Report made during the dinner break:
The way he looked with his bangs clipped (*^_^*)
And also,
When the makeup artist was fixing his hair, his hair was tied up with a red elastic, right at the top of his head, like a fountain (≧▽≦)
The way he looked as he held up a mirror with his Doraemon hands, and checked himself o(^-^)o
The way, in the corner of the boxing ring, he flipped the pages of the script with his Doraemon hands like an expert (*^-')ノ
6. We met at 7am, and stayed until 8pm.
At night, dinner time was delayed (lunch time was delayed until after 1pm too)
There were around 500 people today.
After 7pm at night, Pi said to everyone,
"Even though it's Golden Week, thank you all for helping out. Because filming still needs to continue, please stay a little longer"
Because of this one sentence, I felt that it was great I stayed all the way since the morning~
Today, Pi appeared around 10.30am.
He still looked a bit sleepy, and he leaned against the rope, resting with his eyes closed.
After lunch, there was filming for an important scene
After several very detailed scenes, I guess he was relieved that the director called OK.
He suddenly squatted down in the ring.
The staff immediately brought a chair over (lol)
Even though the staff often brought a chair over for him to sit, whenever filming began again he would bring the chair back himself.
The way he would sit and relax in the corner, where the staff were gathered to prepare the equipment, it was really cute too.
When filming began, Pi's expression became very sharp!
It's really acting filled with spirit. I can't wait for the movie to come out!
A male extra sitting near me (he had come to be an extra many times already) praised Pi, and said that he was very suitable for the role of Joe.
I was really happy
8. Yesterday I had the best seats of all the days of filming~
At first I sat in the seats in the very front row
And Pi-chan was facing the audience, so I could see his expression very clearly, so happy~!
The power of his eyes are amazing!
After we were moved around, I was lucky enough to be moved back to the front row again~
Joe wearing a robe, gasping and struggling to stand up, the pained expression... I sat there and kept staring straight at him~!
Ahh~ So sexy, so gorgeous, so ero~ Amazing~
And and, the shorts that were 20cm above his knee~

When we were leaving too~ "Having everyone stay so late, thank you very much!"
As the prince was sitting in the car, ready to go home, he opened the window and waved to the fans
