livejournal is hard to kick indeed. i don't update daily anymore, but i do use it to rant in. Sometimes when i just need to get everything off my chest, i come here and vent or let things take place on this page and just let them lie.
Being in afghanistan with the Army right now is definitely very trying. I've got a fiancee back home that is waiting for me, and with all the things going on in and outside our compound, its not a safe place. as much as i hate purdue, i'd love to go back to the good ole days of Cary Quad, lounging in your room playing halo or whatever else happens to be played at the time. Them days were fun...or even running down the halls whacking on people with my bamboo swords XD
but i've been failing the same slum in video gaming, but with me...i think its more with the lack of creativity put into games as of late. So many feel...well, burnt out on game ideas. i've been trying out more RPG's that i haven't yet touched though, just trying to find something to rekindle that spirit. But i definitely find myself going back and playing so many games that i've played a zillion times before. FF7, Chrono Trigger, hell, i go back and replay GTA San Andreas a lot. But new games...man, not many have really struck a chord with me as of late. So i know what you mean.
Anyways Collin, peace outtie, and drop a line sometime, its a 9 1/2 hour time difference (ahead of you) so i should be just getting into work around 9pm your time and will be up all day (your night). katsutoshi.akio@gmail.com
