I got an EeePC 900A today. I love this thing!
I had a bit of an argument with the boot priority, but I schooled the BIOS into booting off the USB hard drive. I added a kernel with modules specific to the EeePC and everything (for a regular Linux as opposed to the Xandros-based stuff that ships with it) is working -- wireless, network, sound, etc.
I wonder if I can boot it off the SD card... (update: the answer is yes)
Of course, at 1024*600, the screen size is the main compromise here.
