Help me, oh non-monolingual friends. I am looking for a word or phrase that means "wintry mix" -- snow, sleet and rain together -- in another language. So, if you're wondering where I've been lately, the answer is mostly "Colombia." Times like this, I HATE that I'm monolingual; I know a little Spanish, but only enough to catch words here and there, which is almost worse than knowing nothing. Finally! I bundled myself off to the local coffeehouse today with the intention of not leaving until I had (a) finished the first draft of Vampire Book the Fourth, or (b) the place closed. 7 1/2 hours later -- 20 minutes before closing -- I was done.
