Fannish Five! -- space exploration
Five characters who would like to explore or travel in space (who haven't done so already.)
1) Sydney Bristow, "Alias" -- She's curious, intelligent, resourceful, disciplined and willing to live on the edge. Now that I think about it, I'm sort of surprised she didn't consider NASA as a career option.
2) Dana Scully, "The X-Files" -- See above. Of course, opinions differ as to whether Scully explored space or not.
3) Phil Dunphy, "Modern Family" -- He'd like to. I'm not saying it would be a good idea.
4) Walter Bishop, "Fringe" -- Due to hallucinogens, Walter may believe he's already explored space. Certainly he strikes me as the fictional character most likely to be able to get himself there with his home projects, should he so desire. And you know he'd get a kick out of it.
5) Hermione Granger, "Harry Potter" -- The thought of the wizarding world infiltrating the space program fills me with unending glee, and you just KNOW Hermione would be right up in it.
