(Newcomers to this LJ, this sort of ranty thing does not occur here often. Just FYI!)
This is My New Rule.
Anybody in fandom who hasn't liked a female character (ANY female character) enough to write/vid/meta about her in the past five years is not a person I am listening to about -- you know, I was going to say "feminism," but I will expand that to "anything."
(OK, that wasn't much of a rant, but I'm not much of a ranter.)
