OMG, I want this so bad. And I checked against the DVD: it is the exact fabric.

Just in case you are of the opinion that I think BtVS can do no wrong:

They could really have used a calligrapher in their props department. Computer-perfect fonts in ancient texts just doesn't work for me.

I've been watching a lot Buffy since I bought the boxed set a week ago. I've watched all1 of Season 5 so far, and most of Season 6.

It's interesting the things I'm noticing watching them all for the second time: events that were either separated by long periods of time so that I missed the connection2, or foreshadowy type stuff that only makes ( Read more... )

Partly on the advice of globalfruitbat, I bought Buffy the Vampire Slayer: The Chosen Collection this morning. I got it for $240 (Canadian) which comes out to less than $35 per season: way better than I'd be able to do buying them individually. Now I just need seasons 3 through 5 of Angel and I'll be all set.

After watching the commentary on the Buffy the Vampire Slayer episode Hush:

Things that make the Gentlemen less creepy: finding out they are in part inspired by Mr. Burns.
Things that make the Gentlemen more creepy: finding out they are mimes in disguise.

Damn! but that's a good piece of television. My second time watching that episode- only cried once this time, but there were a few others that were close.
