I was pretty sure I didn't want to sit through two hours of the VMAs just to watch a two-minute trailer of The Hunger Games, and I'm glad I didn't. Denise called me about 10 minutes into it, asking if I wanted to go to Denny's. I was hungry, and I figured the trailer would probably be up online later tonight, so I said "yes."
We ate, then came back to catch up on The Guild. After she left, I switched on the TV again--perfect timing.
My reaction:
It's not bad, but it's pretty generic. (It's also not really a trailer. It's just a few shots of Jennifer Lawrence running through the woods.) I would have been pissed if I had to sit through two hours of VMAs just to watch it.
(Note: You might be asking why I was watching in the first place, if I knew it was going to be online. I'm the sort of person, who, when I look forward to something, I have a hard time focusing on other things. This is the same reason I decided to come to the last Harry Potter movie four hours early.)

You know what has a good trailer? Maggie Stiefvater's The Scorpio Races book trailer.
Normally, I think book trailers are pretty stupid. But this one's really cool.
I've never read any of Maggie Stiefvater's previous novels, mostly since paranormal romance doesn't appeal to me. I do follow
Merry Sisters of Fate, though. And this book sounds interesting. (Although that may be because I'm still not a hundred percent sure what it's about.)
I've never tried to embed a video before. Let's see if this works:

Woohoo, it works!
