It would appear that my body is determined to make cross-stitching difficult for me. I solved the problem of tendinitis with my dad's wonderfully crafted stand. I got myself better lights and a magnifier so when I'm stitching over-1 on say 32ct linen I can see a lot easier. But apparently that isn't enough.
Last couple of weeks I've been noticing some problems with my eyes. They've begun to ache at first I thought it was just when trying to cross-stitch so even when working on Aida I decided to use the magnifier to see if that would help. It hasn't, I can't say for sure if the pain is caused by my eyes getting worse or my sinuses finding a new and 'wonderful' way to torture me. I found that I'll be due for an eye appointment in July and I'm really hoping that they won't get any worse between now and then, or if this is my sinuses that I can find a way to make it stop.
Either way I'm not going to let it stop me, might make me a little miserable though.
My first order from
Stitch-it Central the other day and was absolutely thrilled to see that they surged the fabric before shipping and this is something they always do for online orders. That settles that, I'm not shopping anywhere else, not only are they Canadian with excellent prices but I don't have to get it surged myself. This = Win! I should have another order coming soon, more fabric.
