Five. Kamiki x Kanata
If he would think of someone who he could trust with his life, of someone who could always make him laugh, somehow his mind would always focus on Kanata Hongo. His best friend for so long. They first met when Kamiki was 11, in the shooting of the drama Aikurushii. Kamiki was a friendly child, and he easily got close to the people around him. Kanata was a quiet boy, and he had this cool aura that made people think that he was way beyond his age. As expected, Kamiki found himself being curious of this older boy.
"Kanachi!" Somehow it just spilled out, that nickname. Kamiki didn't really know how he thought that up.
Kanata looked up before laughing heartily. "Kanachi...?"
"Ah sorry," Kamiki laughed a bit, finding it funny. "It just came out."
"It's cute." Kanata simply said as he patted him on the head.
From then on, he called him that cute nickname. And for the first time, Kamiki found a big brother. He was protected and cared for like a real little brother. "Ryu is my otouto!" Kanata said this and hugged Kamiki fondly. The relationship of Horo and Shu reflected the closeness Kanata and Kamiki had off cam.
But as it goes, the taping for Aikurushii had to end. The cast cried and parted ways.
"I'm sure we would work together again someday. Don't worry." Kanata hugged him before waving goodbye.
It took a long time for them to work again, and even then it was just a guesting for Kanata's part. Despite that, Kamiki understood. He didn't need to work again with Kanata to hold on to their friendship. He will always be Kanata's special otouto. He could always call him and meet up with him when he's free. Not working together didn't mean that they wouldn't be able to be friends anymore.
Today, for example. Kanata called Kamiki and asked him if he was busy. Luckily, he wasn't. They agreed to meet at the train station. They will go to Kanata's place from there. Kanata wanted to teach Kamiki how to play the guitar.
They were sitting at the living room, across each other, both holding their guitars. Kanata was teaching him the basics as they searched for songs to play.
"Kanata..." Kamiki has always wanted to call him that, since he thought Kanachii was too childish and since every one of Kanata's friends called him as such.
"Hm?" Kanata's face lit up. "That's the first time you called me that."
"It's because Kanachii doesn't suit Kanata anymore." Kamiki laughed.
"Eeeh~ So my otouto thinks I'm maturing more, then~?"
"You sound childish now though~"
"Haha, it's okay since I'm playing with my cute little brother right~?"
And like that, they played around like real siblings would. For sure, this relationship they have will last forever.
Six. Kamiki x Suzuka
Suzuka was thankful he was here. That he existed in her life. It was a tough time for her, what's with her conflicted feelings about college and her sudden breakup with her boyfriend. It was all rather frustrating and depressing, and all she needed was someone who could listen to her. Someone who would be there for her, without any questions.
"Suzuka-chan!"
And there he was, barging in her room. He was panting and sweat trickled down his face. She watched as he slumped down the floor in exhaustion, trying to catch his breath.
"I came running." he panted, looking straight at her. "Are you alright?"
That was all it took. She broke down into a messy pile of sobs and complaints. Other people would see her as cool and composed, but only Kamiki and Kenta, her two dearest friends, saw her like this. She has these moments too, when all she wants to do is cry and let out her feelings.
He frowned and walked to her side, sitting on her bed. "Does it hurt that much?" he asked.
She nodded, not able to talk anymore. Words weren't needed though. She faced him and hugged him tightly, asking for the support she greatly needed.
He returned the hug, rubbing her back comfortingly. "Just cry it all out, Suzuka..."

In all honestly, Kamiki's first crush on the entertainment business was Ohgo Suzuka. His role had a crush on hers in Aikurushii, and somehow Kamiki didn't have to act out all those lovestruck expressions anymore. He thought she was beautiful and amazing. Like a real princess.
But soon enough they became friends, and Kamiki's crush was forgotten. He liked seeing her and talking to her, but he was young and a crush was just a temporary thing (especially since he meets so many people everyday). He probably realized that Suzuka was someone who would be his friend forever. A lifetime companion without the weird "I love you's".

Suzuka would never say it out loud but she developed this really tiny, miniscule even, crush on Kamiki during their Tooku wo Sora ni Kieta shooting. He was sweet, and handsome (grown up and so different from the puny Horo), and a real gentleman. She didn't let it show but she appreciated everything he did for her. And more than anything, she liked being with him during those times.
But Kamiki was nice to everyone, and Suzuka soon realized that the miniscule crush would never, ever grow into anything more. Kamiki was more of a brother to her than a future lover. There was just nothing romantic about their relationship.

Probably because of their previous crushes, and disappearance of such, Suzuka and Kamiki developed this strong friendship that they themselves can't define.
They could be each others strengths. It was not romantic love, but it was love nonetheless.
Suzuka can't help but think that Kamiki was her very own guardian angel on earth.
Seven. Kamiki x Nanami
"Nanami-senpai!"
Sakuraba Nanami looked back to see Kamiki running to her. She laughed out loud, stopping on her track to let him catch up. "Still calling me senpai?"
Realizing how he called her, he chuckled. "I can't seem to call you other names. It's stuck already."
"Oh well, at least I'll immediately know it's you." Nanami said before sighing. "You're still my senpai when it comes to acting and voice acting though."
He smiled. "We're on the same boat when it comes to voice acting games though~" They are here today to record the voices for the Nintendo DS game "Zac and Ombra: The Phantom Amusement Park". It was a different kind of project, and Kamiki thought it would be a good new experience.
"I wish we could co act in a real drama though. Kamiki-kun is a really good actor." She sighed again. She has seen him in a lot of his dramas, and in every one, she found herself wanting more and more to act with him. He always showed great expressions and clear emotions.
He nodded. "I wish we could. I think Nanami-senpai is a good actress too."
...
"Hello?" Nanami picked up her phone, placing down her pen which she was using to answer her assignment. "Nanami speaking."
"Ah! Senpai!"
"Kamiki-kun?" There was laughter in her voice, missing the way he called her. "What is it?"
"Did you get the game yet?" He was obviously excited. It showed clearly in his voice. "I just bought my copy!"
"Ah~ Not yet! I'll get mine tomorrow." She answered, noting it down on her planner.
"Your voice is really cute. I like this game a lot~" He sounded really satisfied.
Blushing a bit, she giggled. "Now, now, don't spoil me. I still haven't played it."
"Hai, hai~" he laughed. "Call me when you get it okay?"
She laughed once again before saying "Okay! Now let me do my homework first, so I could play full time tomorrow!" They both hung up. Staring at her planner, a wide smile appeared on her face. It was always nice to talk with Kamiki. It always gave her so much energy.
Eight. Kamiki x Kenta
Kenta, despite his age, was considered mature. Kamiki was also called mature when he was young, but somehow Kenta was always the more mature one. When they first met, despite Kamiki being older, Kenta easily called him "Ryu" cooly.
Perhaps because of this, Kamiki doesn't really think of Kenta as someone younger. Sometimes he even thinks of the boy as someone older than him.
"I should really just call you Kenta'jii-san, you know." Kamiki comments one day while they were busy watching Kenta's recent movie. "See, even your roles seems more mature than mine. All those life changing decisions your character made..."
Kenta does not look convinced, but he did look amused. "You're roles are always the ones with characters stuck in an older body. Gaku and Ninomae, right?"
"Yup. 7 years old in a 15 years old body. And Ninomae was... a twelve year old boy in an eighteen years' old body?" Kamiki sighed. "I don't get mature roles often."
"At least you've got powers." Kenta chuckled. "That's really cool."
"But you got a role as a samurai! That's really cool!" he countered,
"Okay, okay, we're both cool." Kenta said with finality.
"See? You're really the older one between the two of us." Kamiki laughed some more.
"You're just childish."
Nine. Kamiki x Kenta x Suzuka
"Ryu!" Kenta, dressed in his new uniform, smiled at him and walked towards his direction. "Or should I say, senpai?" He grinned.
"No way~" Kamiki laughed. "Kenta'jii-san calling me senpai? That sounds weird!"
"Ken-chan!" Suzuka walked towards them, a wde smile on her face. "You look great!"
Kenta's smile widened. "Thanks Suzu'nee-chan!" He puffed up his chest proudly. "Hear that, Ryu? She just said I looked nice."
"Yes, yes, now go on and line up before you get scolded!" Kamiki lightly pushed him away, laughing as he did so.
Suzuka was laughing as well, watching them. "Ken-chan sure is growing up fast."
"Feeling like a proud mother~?" Kamiki grinned, poking her hips teasingly. "Should I prepare tissues now, Suzuka-chan?"
"Shut up!" She laughed. "I just never thought we'll all be together like this again. He never told us he'll attend Horikoshi."
He nodded. "It was a surprise, right? Kenta has always been like that though. He wasn't entirely vocal about things he's planning."
"He's more mature than both of us, isn't he?" She commented with an amused expression.
"He is."
As people should know by now, I suck at updating and I have more writer's block days than productive ones. BUT I'M TRYING REAL HARD HERE, KK. Still have a week to go to finish the million fics I should post, so I'll just cram and not sleep ~_~"

13-19 will be KamiShi drabbles BECAUSE I CAN'T WRITE ANYMORE PAIRINGS. Like, I tried really hard to think about how Riko and Kamiki interact, or how to write a Kamiki x Mayuko fic, but I really can't. It's impossible for me. I've never even seen any real Kamiki x Riko interaction outside of the dramas! And I just CAN NEVER WRITE RYUKO. It's not even my bias talking. It's just that I don't know how to grasp their relationship.
But if you have suggestions, feel free to give them. (I actually wanted to write Kamiki x Ryoko but I don't have any idea how to write that too.)
