iPod? What a great idea!

then again... maybe if my computer would cooperate with it. but no. So far, the only difference between iPod and a hammer has been the complexity of destroying my computer - it's a much simpler task with a hammer. Perhaps it's an attempt to make the fun of destruction last longer... so far, I'm still discovering stuff that isn't doing what it's supposed to.
"Go look in the user manual", someone might object. Again: Not an option. The .pdf labeled "user manual" is apparently damaged, and I have roughly 7 seconds from opening adope reader and until it freezes. No, reinstalling it didn't help in any way whatsoever.
Other places in my computer, half programmes have been installed by the iPod installation cd. The only parts apparently not there are whatever pieces are required to either make the program do something OR uninstall it. If I try to do anything with it, everything freezes up. Later on, the computer was working again, but occasionally it would do a bit of self-rediscovery - It redicovered that it had RAM(!) and a DVD/cd-rom drive(!!!), as well as other funny small things.
