Damages 2x03 - I Know Your Pig
It's not much of a surprising episode (probably because i hit a jackpot! woooooooooooooo!!!) ehem!... ok, what speculation did i marked true? Just follow the yellow brick road and it'll lead you to the truth.
Ok, what i have uncovered to be true was the fact that Patty and Daniel had something going on in their past and made a little bundle of joy in the form of Michael (but Daniel wasn't very happy when he discovered it). So my hunches all along was correct... the odd look when Daniel and Michael met, plus the scene of Patty and Daniel in the car. It could have been a dead giveaway but i dont care, i have my first point of the season! (Oh don't celebrate yet, the season is not over).
Anyways, on with our cases:
Case A - Who Killed Wifey?
Hmn, damn that ending... screwed up my guess. Here's this unknown blond guy selling the ruby ring he stole from Mrs. Purcell (or did he?) Did my suspects changed?
A.1 Daniel Purcell - i know, you'll probably say i am nuts... don't judge me just yet, i know there's something fishy about him. (Hey, you can't leave the fact that he had a restraining order before).
A.2 Claire Maddox - yeah, still a suspect. Love can be a brutal force to recon with.
A.3 Unknown Blond Guy (new) - he killed her for the ruby ring! (why not take the diamond ring as well? hmn)
Why keep them as suspects? There's the blond guy with the ruby ring... isn't that enough evidence? Well, it could be... it could be not. What's his link to this story?
*opens a new case! (well, sub-case)*
Case AA - The Unknown Blonde Guy
Who is he and what's his connection in this murder? did he really murdered Mrs. Purcell?
AA.1 - He's probably just a homeless guy (and a very sorry one) that to whom Daniel Purcell gave this ruby ring. An evil plot that will turn the suspicion on the poor guy and away from the true suspect. (I am going to stick with this thought).
AA.2 - He was hired by Claire Maddox... and out of need (and panic), he was able to get the ruby ring from Mrs. Purcell's right hand and have no more time to get the diamond ring on the left hand because Daniel Purcell just came to the crime scene.
So those are the focus on this episode, mind if we review and analyze the previous statements we had from the last show?
Case B - Who is Wes Krulik
So much of Wes being a suspect on Mrs. Purcell's death (i told you it was a long shot). The speculations remain the same, just out of the Purcell case.
Case C - What is Daniel burning?
Ok, i might change a bit on my standing about this scene after this recent development on the story.
C.1 - Evidence from the past with Patty. I think those were the pictures of Michael that Patty gave him during the revelation. But why burn it? is Mr. Purcell having a huge grudge against Patty?
C.2 - Evidence of a much larger scale that would put him down.
The Big Case - Ellen Shot Who?
It's a bummer that there's no lead to this one for today's episode (the scene wasn't even shown!). So i stay put with my words with this one just like the last statement. (refer to episode 2)
*Sigh* we'll wait for another week for another revelation :).
