life update
so, updating is not my strong suit. i don't really have much to say i guess. so here's a mini update for those i haven't seen/talked to in a while.
ballroom rocks. i'm having a ton of fun doing it, and i feel like i'm actually making progress. next comp is in philly on feb 7th if any one wants to come and cheer david and i on to victory :-p
i graduated! (finally) the ceremony was really nice, and pretty short, i'm actually kind of glad i had to take an extra semester and graduated in the winter. i was glad mommom, mom, dad, joe, ben and mr and mrs deater and sarah all got to come to the ceremony, it meant a lot to me.
now a job. right now i'm working in english department computer lab like i have been working for the past 3 years. i'm looking for full time employment, so far not a lot of luck. but i'm confident i'll find something, even if its not exactly what i was hoping for.
i'm single. and i'm enjoying it. and realizing a lot of things about myself. and i'm enjoying being on my own. not to say that relationships are bad, just that i'm not particularly looking right now. i also realized that chose my relationship over a lot of friendships. and that is no one's fault but my own. but i'm kicking myself over it. so now i'm trying to hang out with old friends and actually go out and do things again.
speaking of which. i hung out with steph, scott, dan, dane, vicki and rob last night. it was awesome. i forgot how much fun they were. we watch the self destruction of the ultimate warrior. it was hilarious. i recommend it to any one who doesn't mind wrestling and wants to hear a guy on roids with crazy face paint rant about how he came from parts unknown to beat every one up.
i've also been hanging out with kyle and marty more often. good times, those guys make me laugh, and keep reminding me of stuff i did in high school that i don't remember.
tonight is hanging out with annie and mr. r aka dad#2 in my life. it will probably be a fun time.
tomorrow is party and possibly brandon's band. if i can figure out where they're playing.
