The world is a synonym for pathetic.
Tell me when the news became a 24/7 rated R for violence. Or when people who have more money then they know what to do with waste it off on trinkets that they never use when children are dying from malnutrition across the atlantic. But that's ok because as long as you sit in your air conditioned homes and watch the stuff on the news that the government deems right for the circumstances and turn a deaf ear everything is fine. It doesn't effect you. Because a bomb can't get you while your life doesn't change. Because your children or yourself aren't dying of malnutrition or having water all through their tissue. That because there aren't enough doctors to help them they have to die no more than a year old in a plastic bed underneath a tent then be buried in an unmarked grave. Tell me, are you proud of that. People are too caught up in being blind to what is really going on that they don't realize the true extent of this world. The people who run it are too caught up in making themselves look good so they get another term that they ignore the little things and think of bombs as the fix all for everything. People look over global warming like it will never happen, but it already has. And if people don't soon do something about it then it will just get worse. Instead of voting on global warming the government voted on flags. If global warming gets too extreme there won't be a place for the flags, or the people to put them up. This whole world needs to wake up and receive the biggest reality check there is. That is why it's pathetic. That is why we're pathetic. You can change things, but will you?
