Panic! At The Disco, The Hush Sound, Dresdon Dolls 7/18

So chalk this day up to one of the best i've ever had. I got to hang out with so many people that i hadn't seen in a while it was amazing. The show was great too. Just kidding the show was amazing but i'll start from the beginning as always:

We picked mel and holly up and left about 12. We stopped at wendy's on the way down near Century 3 that was an interesting time. We got to station square around 2 o'clock and the line was really short, i'd say no more than 20 people. So we were happy we had left that early. We stood in line for a while then tried to call Ashley cause she had left at 6 am. They were at hard rock though. A while later I hear "SARAH!!!" from behind me and ashley runs up and gives me a hug. She was with Tiffany and Joe. So here's how the story goes. They ran into panic at Hard Rock and since they spent 25 dollars there got a stamp on their receipt to get them in the VIP line at the concert. So ashley invites us to go with them and just say we ate with them. Of course we said yes and let me add Ashley and Tiffany and Joe are absolutely amazing for doing that. So we went up to the other line and hung out a while. Liz Ridley was there with one of her friends and this girl [we still don't know her real name and can't find her
] we called Burt because she looked like the female Burt McCraken. Seriously she was awesome. Ashley made friends with panics body guard and while we were waiting she asked him about his tattoos. He had a big picture of Freddy Kruger [sp?] on his leg it was amazing. Ashley had a can of hairspray in her purse and joe saw an empty pop can on the ground so while we weren't looking he filled the pop can up with hairspray and took out a lighter. Ashley looked down and saw him ready to set the light at the top of the pop can and before she could say anything he lit it and a little explosion happened in the can Ashley thought her eyebrows were burned off the whole things was hilarious. After a while we got in line and the body guard started giving out VIP passes to meet panic. Ashley, Tif, and Joe got ones since they had met the guy at lunch so they gave us the receipt so we could get in the hardrock line. Cause we realized once we had gotten out of the regular line that there was a guest number on the receipt. These 2 girls came up to the body guard later and said that they should've gotten passes because they had a paper. It was hilarious. They had on these tank tops that were homemade that said "Panic! At The Disco" on the front and "Testosterone Boys" on the back ad a picture of the so called "Brenden/Ryan Kiss" the guy just looked at them and asked to see the back of their shirts so they showed him and he shook his head he went: "I support this paper, and I support those lyrics, but that picture? Nah. First off, That's not really them. and Secondly, they've never kissed." so he told them he gave all the passes out but he'd go in and try and get more. It was a long time. Liz and I didn't think he was coming back. But he did, without passes. They still ended up getting in there early though cause they stayed in our line and since the lady didn't check the receipts they got through. Ashley, Tiffany, and Joe went in to see panic and when the lines were getting ready to go in the hardrock line was supposed to go first. But Chevy Amp never gets lines right and hte other line rushed. But we got in there since we were up fron and holly, mel, and I were about 3 people from the barricade. The Hush Sound came out and did an amazing job, later gabby said they had a better crowd reaction then in Cleveland and it showed cause they really started getting into it. Brenden came out and sang part of a song with them. I gave my camera to ashley since she was front row and she got some great pictures. When I finish resizing them i'll post the link here. I got out of the pit after the hush sound set because my knee was killing me. I went back and met up with Gabby who came in from Cleveland and we walked around a bit finding out when THS and Dresdon Dolls were going to do signings and bought some stuff. During the Dresdon Dolls performance Brenden came out and sang Hit Me Baby One More Time. That was just great. Dresdon dolls came back and signed stuff after their set. I only had a dollar for them to sign but the guy took it and started drawing on Washington it was great they were both really nice. We went back up to the edge of the pit to watch Panics set. It was amazing. I was beginning to get out of panic before the concert but they seriously gained everything back that night. The set decorations were different but i liked them and the circus troop was great too. They did a cover of a Smashing Pumpkins song. The intermission act was a little stupid. I think it actually made some people leave the pit. It was like a personal ad for each guy in the band done by the circus troop. I think they contradicted themselves with that one. During "But It's Better If You Do" this girl came out on stage like she was in a strip club to go with the video. Into the song she gave brenden a lap dance. That boy has that tour rigged to his advantage. He gets a lapdance every night of the tour. Although he has to have a lot of self control to not have to go offstage for 5 minutes afterwards. After Brenden threw the girl off of him she went after ryan but he just ignored her the whole time. They really put on a good show that at the end of the night and i think i fell in love with that band again. After Panic was done i waited to meet the Hush Sound. They were all really nice and signed my cd for me. I talked to Greta the longest she was awesome. I met up with Holly and Mel and we got my camera off of Ashley. Mel was hilarious she had styaed in the pit and said "I was so close to Brenden, I could see the sweat, It was BEAUTIFUL." i love that girl. At the end of the night it was a great show, great bands, amazing people, and a good time. Definitly worth it.
