So Sarah, my friend and only co-worker, is leaving and has to help train her 2 replacements. So my boss's decision is $10 an hour for each replacement. Sarah makes $9.50 an hour, and so, she needs to be paid more. Upon my boss's decision of $10/hour, I told him to raise Sarah. So he agreed to raise her $.75 an hour, which puts her at $10.25/hour, which is more than the $10 but still a cheap way around it. And while I confronted him about that he was like 'I suppose you need a raise too, give yourself the same amount extra,' so I just got a 75 cent raise by helping Sarah out lol. Not my intention but I will take it. Also, Sarah is leaving, so raising her up for a little bit is not bad, my raise is permanent.
