A long time since I last updated, I am at work, and should be working but I feel I need an update.
First of all, best news this morning, my knee condition is not the same one as before! It is caused by the surgery and the solution is a brace (I am wearing it now, it is pretty uncomfortable but my knee is not hurting a ton) and physical therapy to my left leg. Apparently the surgery loosened a muscle in my thigh, and that when it loosens like this (with is a common side effect to the surgery I got, apparently) the knee cap starts moving on its own. So my first physical therapy appointment is July 9th, hopefully it doesn't take too many ($20 a appointment sucks.) Doctor said a month, and after it should be all fine!
Very good news, since I thought my knee was forever stuck like this, sleeping with a pillow under it for comfortable, half jumping down stairs to avoid lots of pressure on it, being unable to stand in one place for very long, etc.
Also good/bad news, looks my pedo-van is gonna be gone soon :'( However, because of the government's stimulus plan, we may be able to trade it in for a $3,500 or $4,500 credit towards a brand new car. Thats more money than the car cost or we ever put in it for repairs. The new car will either go to my mom or me, since we commute. We are looking towards a hatchback/station wagon option with good gas mileage. My parents have not gotten a brand new car since 1983 and we have no car past the year 99'. So, if my mom wishes to still drive my grandpa's car, since she is emotionally attached to that, I may get the new car, whatever it may be. This means I can actually takes trips without thinking the car is gonna break down! ROAD TRIP!!!! And then I have something to show for my van, at the junkyard they would only hand me $100 -.- And I can strip the inside, they won't care!
And Lo's party on Saturday was a ton of fun and now I am waiting till tomorrow and my paycheck so I can fill my car with gas lol. Tonight I also get my dock for my Archos 5 which means I can play movies I download onto it on the TV, which is awesome. I should be watching Hocus Pocus tonight if all goes well.
Anyways, I go camping in a little over 2 weeks and I am very excited. I can't believe its almost July, I have the most plans July, hopefully August I can relax a bit (probably not though) Oh well, I do not go back to school till Sept 10th or so.
