>.< Hello...errr...please don't kill me. It's been ages since I've updated! I'm extremely sorry, okay so my excuse this time is that most of my last end of term exams all happened and it was all happening at the same time. Whenever I did have free time, I would just have a massive writer's block ='( but I'm back! =] I'll start updating almost regularly. Sorry it's a short chappie, I haven't even checked over it. m(__ __)m
It was Reita(a.k.a Akira Suzuki) like a week ago. My favourite person in Jrock ^^

check out his super awesome nose band♥ :L

His head fell back, down to the pillow, looking at the plain white of the ceiling. Or was it black? Maybe this wasn’t real, maybe none of this was, and maybe this wasn’t reality. Perhaps, this wasn’t his life.       It could’ve been someone else’s life. All twisted and unfair, it could’ve been a fiction. He wasn’t this person, the one laying on the hospital bed. The one that was staring up at the bland ceiling, the one that wished he could die, right there and then. Hopefully he’ll wake up in the morning with the person he needs most in the world, there. With him. Safe.  His heart was clenching, almost tearing itself apart, his emotion were torturing. All memories seemed so fake now, like they were fading, and he didn’t want to lose a single moment of it. Like in a few weeks, maybe months, maybe even a few years, the inevitable would happen. He would forget Yamapi, his sister, his parents, they would just turn to nothing. He would forget, they would just disappear and no one else would remember anything. Sure, someone might see an unfortunate story in the newspapers and maybe spare a few moments of sympathy for the people in the article, but given a couple of minutes, they would just get on with their lives, just like how he would forget that he once had a family he dearly loved, that he had someone he valued more than anything else. He would probably fall in love again, or just start liking someone, as simple as that. He was a stubborn person, anyone could tell you that, and to his judgement, he was disgusting. Not worth being called a human, he was unkind, he was inconsiderate to others, he was the person someone could easily learn to abhor, he was beyond all selfish, and he didn’t care. So why would fate choose to spare his life and take Yamapi’s? Someone who was kind, who was caring, likable, charming, someone that had a beautiful smile, someone who anyone would be afraid to approach, he was like an a beautiful angel. He was Yamapi, Ryo’s very own Yamapi. It wasn’t right.

The tears were trying to immerge, but he had no energy to fight them.

“Ryo...”

Huh? He was alone, wasn’t he? Ryo lifted his back, or at least he tried to, he scowled at heavy his body felt. Was it always this hard to sit up? He felt a hand assist him up to a comfortable posture. His eyes wondered through the arm to meet the eyes of Jin. “Why are you still here?” his voice came out weaker than he’d have liked.

“We need to see if you would be alright.” Jin’s lips almost resembled a small smile. “And I need to speak to you.” We? Who was ‘we’? He peered around the plain room. They were there, everyone was there. All of his friends were there, even the ones from Osaka. Hina and Massu seemed to be waking up from their slumber. By the looks of it, they had all spent the night in the hospital. Which raised the question, “How did you manage to persuade the staff to you stay?” again, his voice was weak, almost broken. Kame, who was holding Jin’s hand rather tightly answered. “Well, we all started shouting at the nurses...and, well. The doctor who’s in charge of you finally let us stay, as long as we stayed quiet, that is.”

Ryo glanced over the collection of lazing bodies in the chairs and at the ones standing beside his bedside. They all looked so tired, all eyes were red and puffy, clear evidence that they had all been crying. They all tried in their own way to avoid looking into the eyes of Ryo, Tegoshi was glaring the floor as if something fascinated him about the land he was standing on. Massu was now cuddled up into a ball beside Keiichiro staring at nothing in particular. Yu was pretending to be engrossed with his games console. But how could he be? He was just staring at the screen, without even touching the controls. Every single one of them kept glancing at him with concerned eyes. Jin, he wouldn’t look away from Ryo’s face. But Ryo couldn’t look at them. Why? Why would they look at a murderer? That’s what he was, someone who killed an innocent man. He really was fucked up.

The door knocked. Who...?

Kame lifted his hands away from Jin’s frame before walking towards the door. Ryo wasn’t entirely sure if he wanted to know who was visiting him, but nevertheless he looked. He was horrified at what he saw. Yamapi’s parents were standing outside. Ryo sensed his body go rigid, as the couple advanced towards him. It was Tomohisa’s father that spoke out, “Boys, would you all mind leaving us for a bit?”

Much to Ryo’s annoyance, they all started clearing out of the room in single file. He was left alone to face them. “How are you, Ryo? Are you alright? When are they releasing you from the hospital?”

It was Yamapi’s father who spoke once again, with his wife continuing. “Have you had breakfast? You won’t be able to recover as fast with no food. I should go tell a nurs-“

“W-Why are you two being like this?” Ryo shakily questioned, not looking up. Not looking at them.

“Like what?” Yamapi’s mother sweetly questioned.

“I’m not stupid, Jin or Kamenashi must’ve called you. They probably told you too.”

A long awkward silence fell towards the harshly lighted room.

“You know, Ryo. It isn’t your fault, our son, he ran in there, because he wanted to save you. It was his choice...he wouldn’t want you to blame yourself.” The man started. “He wanted you to be safe, he was the one being selfish. He loves you.” He was trying his best to keep it together, anyone who had ears to easily tell.

“I-I...”

“Ryo I...we want you to know that we love you as our son. You are a part of this family if you wish to be. Tomohisa would love that...”

It seems that Ryo was the one who couldn’t keep it together, his eyes moistened, he face began to distort. He wanted to run away, right this moment. All he could do was climb out of the high bed, dangling his legs gingerly over the side before landing on the floor, or rather collapsing on the floor. A large thud.  Everything happened too fast, small flashes of objects over the other side of the room, before his head hit the ground. Black. Nothing else, just black. Where are you?

Yamapi’s POV

Where am I? Why won’t my eyes open?

I attempted to move my hand. Nothing. What’s happening?

Sensation was finally starting to reconnect with my body, I felt like I was moving, or more like being carried...why? What’s going on? Finally with much effort, my eyes open, with a few blinks I can vaguely see what was in front of me.

Ahh! Fuck, my brain hurts.

“You awake?” was the first voice I heard, it was unfamiliar.

I groaned, “Yeah.”

I realised something, I was on someone’s back. Who?

“W-What...”

“I don’t know...we really need to get you to hospital.”

Shit. Ryo.

“NOO!!” I screamed. “I need to go back. Now! Take me back!” I instantly regretted raising my voice, now the head was being hammered.

“Calm down, I don’t even know where you came from. We’ll deal with this after we’ve been to hospit-“

“No! He’ll...I...I need to...save...no hospital...please” My eyelids weighed, shit. Don’t fall asleep please...Ryo. I need to save him. For god’s sake, open your eyes!

Only the darkness could reach me now.

(End of POV)

---

The same damned ceiling again, he began to wonder if this is the sight he’ll always see. It made the pit of his stomach curl up, an unpleasant experience. He knew where he was, he was a little used to the sight now.

“Hey, what happened?”

He enquired, without actually knowing if anyone was in the room.

“You collapsed. The doctor wanted to tell you to go easy.”

Someone was there, and by the sound of it, it was Ohkura. Ryo emerged up to a comfortable, upright position. “How long have I been unconscious?”

“It’s been nearly 2 days now...How’re you feeling?”

“Like I did 2 days ago.” His dry lips formed almost a depressed smile.

“What time is it?” noticing that the scene outside his window was totally dark.

“Around 10pm...You look really tired. Would you like me to turn the lights off so you can get some proper sleep?” his voice was sweet and caring.

“That’d be nice...” he drifted off as his head fell back on the pillow again. “Hey, go back home, get some sleep too...”

Ohkura’s features turned into a worried frown, but seeing that Ryo had his eyes closed and looked less depressed, he obediently nodded.

“Alright, good night Ryo, rest well.”

“Mhh...G’n...” too tired to form any sort of sentences, Ohkura’s friend could be so adorable. He walked out of the room soon after, not forgetting to turn the lights off and exiting the building.

Yamapi’s POV

The first thing I remember doing was flick my eyes open, it was painful how they stung, the burning awareness spread across, tiny prickles on my skin. I would laugh at the pain if I could, but response was still slow. The dim light, seeping through the small gap between my eyelids revealed vague figures and objects, I couldn’t make out what they were, but from what I could deduct, I was in a moving vehicle. Then my hearing came back to me, it was obvious now. I was in fact in a moving vehicle, an ambulance, which would explain the distinctive siren. It would make sense, the throbbing, the burning, and the agony. After the image became clearer and my eyes had adjusted to the badly lit space, I had no doubt. The man towered over me, with his bright yellow wear, his urgent yet calm expression. But there was another man next to him, or rather a boy, he looked young. Who is he? Whoever he was, he looked about as confused as I felt. From what I could see he had short black hair with strands of dull blonde high-lights, his dark blue t-shirt, covered in black marks, I wasn’t sure what they were, but there were definite traces of blood. I couldn’t look at it, I was defeated by sleep.

---

It was nearly midnight, yet Jin couldn’t slumber at all. He sat on his sofa, surfing through the channel, not really paying any attention to them. Too busy, worrying, worrying about Ryo, worrying about the future of his friends, worrying about what to do without Yamapi, just constantly thinking. He felt unsettled, very unsettled. But he wasn’t entirely sure what to do...

“Bringg...Bringg...Hello? I’m ringing, pick me up!!”

He really needed to change that stupid ringtone, he reached over to the coffee table, where his phone was calling out.

“Yes?” he uttered into the machine.

“Hello? Jin! Ryo. H-He. He’s-“ as far as he could tell, it was Tadayoshi.

“What!?” he shouted, suddenly intrigued.

“He’s not in his bed! I-I went back to get my coat and he wasn’t there!”

Jin’s eyes widened with horror.

“Crap. You at the hospital?”

“Yes.”

“Wait there, I’ll be there in five minutes.” He commanded, almost halfway to the door with his coat at hand.
