I am so exhausted. I think next Christmas? I'm going to have to ask that we don't do huge back to back parties. A couple nights ago was the foster kid party at the Hyperion. It was a lot of fun and all the kids really had a blast. It was awesome to see how happy the party and gifts made them and Mike made a killer Santa Clause. Dylan and I made sure everything was set up correctly and he had a blast playing with the video camera that Angel and Faith bought him.
I made this year an electronics Christmas. Everyone got Flatscreen tvs and dvd recorders. Oz carried the tvs into the Hyperion with the help of Dylan and the band. The band was cool and offered to play at the party.
Last night everyone met up at Dylan and Connor's, including Vince, Alex, and my dad, and we had a big family Christmas. It's weird, but everyone really got along. There was a lot talking and Yuffie popped in to see everyone. He told me he really wished I'd make it my New Year's resolution to stop adopting so many cubs because he had a hell of a time shopping for all of them. His gifts were kind of twisted, especially the tights for Dylan, but I found them hilarious.
Tonight I had Christmas open house for my employees. I gave everyone their Christmas bonus and Preach seemed to really like his TV. I'm glad. Apparently the one I sent down to Xander was a big hit with him and Maddy. I called to wish him a Merry Christmas and he said he and Maddy had spent the day watching Star Wars on the new tv. Go me and the fun of an electronics Christmas.
Oz got me an amazing ring. He said he wanted me to have something special and I'm wearing it on the finger that I swore I'd never put a ring on. Dad is going to make Oz immortal after New Years so I guess I really am in this for the long haul. It should probably scare me, but I'm calm and happy. Go figure.
