the field trip to universal was retarded.
while kevin was driving me to house of blues, these two hot girls in the car next to us waved to us at a red light and then one of them wrote their number on a piece of paper and held it up the window. i smelled something fishy (no pun intended) so i called it right then and there...and guess who was right? it was the number for the rejection hotline. i was laughing my ass off because that was pretty good but kevin was like, "damn, the first number i get and it's a fake..." i didn't think it was a big deal because it's not like we asked for it ourselves, they just decided to give it to us so i don't think it counts.
concert last night was incredible. madison did a great job kicking things off. their keyboardist looked like the lead singer of coheed and i almost wet myself when he first came out...wait, i think i did. anyways, then came the band i was looking forward to the most: name taken. simply put, they owned. silverstein came and their set left me hurting, exhausted and blacking out randomly for brief periods of time...but it was well worth it. i really couldn't take any more so i decided to watch senses fail from the side. needless to say, they kicked ass. but the time that i was actually down there, i was in the front the entire time and beautifully managed to avoid the mosh pits which always seemed to start right next to me for some reason. i made friends with these two huge guys who made sure i was next to them and that nobody else was trying to sneak past us. in life, half the people are pure assholes and the other half are genuinely nice people.
bought a name taken shirt and got all their members to sign it. i didn't even have enough but they hooked me up anyway which was awesome. the lead singer took one look at me was like, "hey weren't you that guy in the front singing with me the entire time?" i couldn't believe that he actually noticed me out of all people in that crowd of 300+. i was speechless but i managed to say, "hell yeah man!" that definately made my night. i can honestly say that every show i've been to has managed to somehow top the one before it.
sulu, zain m, sabrina, her little brother and i went to KFC. then sulu came over for a couple hours. he just left to pick up zaing g from his homecoming. we played some poker (texas no limit hold em!) and watched family guy for a while. that is one hilarious show.
sulu, karim, zain m and i are planning to go the mae concert together next month which is in tampa. i'm effin stoked. i believe that's all on my mind except the calculus quarter final on mind which leaving me feeling helpless but i'm not even getting into that right now cause it'll just kill my buzz.
