velvet walls surround my sorrows
the little "get-together" was not too bad. thanks to frank for hooking us up with what we needed. gina was the only female..but in retrospect, i enjoyed it that way because in the company of women, guys usually don't act like themselves; they basically put on a show and act "cool/tough" since all they can think about is getting some ass. so that night, it was just me and the guys (hah, i've always wanted to say that) kickin it. sentinel and fox stayed for a majority of the night enlightening the rest of us with their fascinating stories, which i've heard a million times already. many youngins from khane were there, half of which ended up spending the night (aka passing out). also, alot of people--from the ocoee area--that i didn't even know swung through. but hey...it was all good.
sunday, i skipped the anual "family day". thomas and gina stopped by again.
monday, school then valencia...very uneventful.
tuesday, school then valencia then clean up because parents arrive.
i'd say i thoroughly enjoyed the absence of my parents simply because i can't stand the constant nagging about every little thing i decide to do. though the thrill of sneaking out was eliminated, it was thrown back in balance with my sheer freedom.
talked to inna, which never fails to make me happy. she's got a boyfriend now but she's trying to ditch him to come to halloween horror nights with me. pimp. she actually wants to come to my homecoming more...now that would be sweet. hopefully she can come to both.
school is...well, you know.
grades slipping, parents complaining, teachers unrelenting.
on a more positive note, i have a field trip tomorrow...to universal studios. i don't understand why they can't schedule a field trip somewhere else than across the street. i mean, last year it was disney. isn't the whole point of fields trips to go somewhere new and learn something? what am i going to learn from going somewhere that i've already been countless times? anyhow, it gets me out of school so that's a plus.then, later that night...
