WAH!!!!!

I am soo incredibly tired right now. Ok.. well not really tired, but worn out....? I don't know. I'm tired in the fact that I just finished a soccer game and ran my out-of-shape butt off, but not tired enough to go to sleep... though it does sound good.

Anyway, I am SOO relieved that my English essay is finished, printed, and turned in.. Now it seems like I don't have a lot to do. Which I don't... but I was really cutting it close with the essay. We were required to turn it in by 7pm today to her office. Thankfully I had a soccer game at 6:20, so that set an earlier deadline for me. I got the essay finished and printed about 6:15, ran down to my prof's office, then ran to the field house. It felt like I had a cushioned deadline. I NEEDED it done by 6:15, but if I was a little late to my soccer game, no one would die. If that makes any sense.

So, onto the soccer game. I felt I played a better game today, I was able to stop some runs and settle the ball well enough. I'm equally thankful and slightly hurt that my teammates didn't pass to me, but that is understandable, my ballhandling skills (dribbling mainly) aren't really up to par with the others on the team. I'm placing the blame on my shoes. For one, my shoes are actual athletic shoes and I am not used to handling the ball in tennis shoes (the shape and angles are different from cleats). Secondly, my right shoe irritates my heel (it's slightly painful). So that is where I am placing the blame, eventhough I really know it's mainly because I am out-of-shape and haven't touched a soccer ball in months (since June I think). Oh! I almost forgot! We won today! 3 or 4 to 1 or 2!!! They had a few good players all guys(hm... red shirt, green shirt, hooters shirt, and a white shirt - that's how I differentiated them). It's been a while and my soccer mind is still dormant so Bill (our captain, and kid in my English class) kept telling me where to be or who to guard. Of course, it's also due to the fact that I don't have experience with the way the guys play (and the way the guys play is what goes, it works better than what I've done on my home team, but we're girls so the way we played worked for us).

I should get on my homework, I've got Irish to do, and German notes to type up. I should also look into the homework for my other classes. I need to catch up in English on my Journals. I'm behind.. maybe.. 6 journals? They shouldn't take that long, but I do need to go over what they are about. Thank goodness my English prof doesn't collect them every class; we're turning them in at the end of the semester.

Anyway.. I really should go!

Slan! (goodbye in Irish)
