Days without transformation: 1

When Bruce Banner woke up he was shirtless, shoeless and virtually pantless in a forest. There was a chill in the air and even though it wasn't freezing, it still wasn't a great idea to be walking around without any kind of clothes to speak of.

He managed to find his way to an old dirt road, where using his best guess picked a direction and started heading South. After twenty minutes of walking a pickup truck heading in his direction came down the road and pulled over when Bruce flagged him down.

"Looks like someone had a fun evening," the man chortled.

Bruce gave him a sheepish grin even though he was shivering. "You could say that. I don't suppose you could tell me where I am?"

"About ten miles outside Auburn," the man replied.

Bruce said nothing but blinked a couple of times.

"Auburn, Maine," the man said with another chuckle. "You really did have a good time, didn't you?"

Bruce let out another chuckle. This one in disbelief. Maine? Did he really go that far? Then again if he was able to get from Brazil to Guatemala, British Columbia to Maine wasn't totally out of the question.

"I don't suppose I could get a lift?" Bruce asked, his teeth beginning to chatter.

The man pushed open the door. "Get in, Son." he replied and as soon as Bruce had clambered in he was given an old coat to put on and a blanket as well as a thermos of coffee. "Where you going?" he asked Bruce.

"Wherever you're headed," Bruce replied with a grateful sigh.

Clearly his "controlled" triggering of transforming into the Hulk was a partial success. However triggering was one thing. Controlling... still an issue.

As the good samaritan continued to drive and chat, Bruce was already making a mental list of things he needed as well as trying to think of any places he could hide.

What he needed... was someplace off the map. But how many places were truly like that these days?
