At some point in the fray that was yesterday, the Hulk had no doubt shouted "LEAVE HULK ALONE" and launched himself out of the castle to parts unknown. Whatever happened between that part and when Bruce woke up in the duck pond...

Well maybe the squirrels knew.

Bruce however was groaning again as he pulled himself out of the pond while being squawked at by traumatized ducks and flamingos.
