You know, I have actually had such a fear that once ChocoMimi's done airing Kido Yuya wouldn't have anything to move on to that it has kept me awake at night sometimes. Not just because I completely adore him, you know, but because he's a great actor and deserves better than an agency nobody's heard of and a role on a show almost nobody's watching. I'll admit, part of the reason I'm forever pointing out how amazing he is is that... well, every little bit helps, you know?
I'll admit that when I saw his picture on the cast list, I burst into tears. Sure, it's a small part, but it's a show that'll get plenty of attention. Furthermore, look at all the other people who've been minor characters in Gokusen -- Miura Ryosuke, Nakamura Yuichi, Mizushima Hiro, hell, for me season one was a big game of 'spot Matsuyama Kenichi' -- and now he's L.
Overwhelming optimism isn't normally my scene, but I can't help but hope for the best.
