And I can't find the post, but I believe I once demanded a Kaze Hikaru drama with Araki as Okita. So it's like they were like, "Well, no. But we like they way you think, kid!" somehow leading to a cast full of Okita. I guess. (And a guy from FLAME. *cracks up*)

* The Wallflower Manga Gets January TV Drama Green-Lit - I am so many kinds of excited, man, you don't even know. *BOUNCES OFF WALLS* Although I am slightly concerned they may not be able to find somebody who's awesome enough to play Ranmaru. I AM SURE IT WILL WORK OUT, THOUGH.
* Kaiji's Live-Action Film Gets Sequel Green-Lit in 2011 - Well it's KAIJI so a sequel is obvious but that won't stop me from squeeing like a moron! Now if you'll excuse me I'm gonna go cross my fingers and pray for a Hagiwara Masato cameo.
* Angel Bank: Dragon Zakura Gaiden Manga Gets TV Drama - A Dragon Zakura sequel starring Hasegawa Kyoko, which I guess makes sense, since it's not like anyone watched Dragon Zakura for, say, Yamapi or Abe Hiroshi or Nagasawa Masami or Koike Teppei or Aragaki Yui or Nakao Akiyoshi or... Seriously, what are they thinking? Then again, they did pretty much the only thing they could do to improve it in my eyes: Put the head teacher from Gokusen in the lead male role. AHAHAHA AWESOME, I SUPPORT THIS MOVE. But wait, there's more!
* Dragon Zakura School Manga Gets Korean Drama Next Year - COOL. *has nothing else to add*
* And not entirely anime-related, but Higanjima's Live-Action Horror Film Trailer Streamed - I can't be the only person who will always think of Ishiguro Hideo as Haruka from Princess Princess D, right? So basically I am assuming this movie will be about him and a bunch of vampires having sparkle competitions or something. Seriously, what else are he and Watanabe Dai going to use to battle vampires? The power of unfitting facial expressions and shotgun weddings? (Apparently Adachi's in it too, which... really doesn't help things.) I feel like I should apologize to Oishi Tetsuya for my skepticism, 'cause he's legit fo' sho' and I respect him a great deal, but I just can't take the movie seriously...
