god dammit.
we have a leak. who knows where. in a normal two-month billing cycle we use about 6-8 'units' of water, each unit is worth 748 gallons. seems like a lot .. but that is our norm. we got a notice from the city about our water reading being very high. yeah. we used 70 units. that's ten times our normal usage. and it has gone up 7 units since thursday! the leak is not in the house. not only did we search for it, but we turned off all the water to the house and our meter outside was still turning. which means it is leaking a shit ton between the street and the house. putting our old ass foundation (and entire house) at serious risk. not to mention a possible $600 water bill. a plumber is coming out tomorrow at 7:30am. god, we don't have the money for this. they are going to have to dig up the fucking sidewalk.
