Thursday was easy...

...compared to Friday's gym visit.

Because I had been sore after Wednesday's training session; and I'd also had a migraine earlier that afternoon so didn't want to make it worse and only went for a 40 minute treadmill.

Then last night I did the first of the full work outs. I was really proud of myself for completing the whole lot, and then stepped onto the treadmill. Well didn't that feel surreal?

I felt as though my legs were totally separate from the rest of my body - or soon would be. *groans* But I kept on moving, and by the end of the first 20 minutes, I knew I'd make it to the end. Got off and went for a quick toilet and then started on the second lot. Just before the end, my friend Chelle arrived - she'd been in the pool and seen me when she first arrived, and was surprised to see I was still there over an hour later.

Anyway I only had two minutes left and continued walking as we chatted. Pressed cool down - finally!! Only to be bumped back up to full walking by Senad as he walked past.

"We close in 10 minutes, so keep walking until then!"

O . M . G ! ! !

I was totally stuffed and as red as a beetroot by the time I actually finished the last lot. Fifty minutes of walking on top of 50 minutes of exercise. I was so tired when I got home and couldn't go to bed because two of the kids were still out at work and needing lifts home.

Woke up this morning not quite as sore as I expected to be. Took Cailee for a swim and play in the pool for a couple of hours, she did two laps on her own (with the floaty ring on) and mum and I did about 20 walking laps as well.

Tomorrow mum will collect Cailee and bring her to the pool an hour or so after I leave for the gym. That way I can go for a walk on the mill for 40 - 50 minutes before they arrive and hopefully walk off any soreness/acheyness I still feel.

I am enjoying this - which is surprising because I was such a couch/'puter potato. And another kilo down for the week!! *dances*
