I feel a little stressed.
When I came into work this morning, I had 3 programs to audit, 2 programs to tie up and it was me and 2 others from the minority firm and everything had to be done by Friday...which was pushing it
Now, as of 10 minutes ago, I have 5 programs to audit (each has 5 documentation workpapers that range from 15 pages to 47 in word), 2 programs to tie up, and no staff from the minority firm with the wild addition of about an hour of work to do for the crazy client with no cheque register. Everything still needs to be done by the end of the week.
Lets hear a nice big resounding "Not a chance in hell!!"...and that even if I was willing to leave my house at 6:00am to get to the client at 7:30am, work through lunch, stay at the client until 8:00pm and get home around 9:30pm for the next 5 days.
It's the perfect example of being set up to fail.
And for the record, I am not "owning this time budget", thats right out the window.
What a bunch of hooey.
PS. Mono lives on strong in my system.
