I’ll send a “good morning” text every morning.
In the morning I want to say, “good morning” by phone. But, if the girl I like is still sleeping, and I wake her it’ll be bad. That’s why I’ll wait until around the time she wakes up to send her a message. As for the emoticon….the sun (laughs). Um, those spinning ones!
During a shopping date, I’ll help pick out clothes.
There are guys who are too shy to go into a [western style] clothing store with a girl, but I think I’ll be calm about it/fine with it. Moreover, I wanna help pick out clothes that will look good [T/N: There’s written in kanji in parentheses here, but the scan is too low quality for me to look it up xP sorry]. If she’s not sure about something like, “Which color is good…?” I’ll help decide. Leave it to meね!
The times when we argue, I’ll reconcile by saying, “there, there”.
If we were to argue, an apology from me is ideal. I’ll squish my partner’s cheeks and say “What’s wrong [insert name here]?” annoyingly and I’ll be forgiven (laughs). Because it’s like that with my family too. However, if I won’t be forgiven that I’ll say, “There, there” (laughs). [T/N:The way he talks about the whole, “there, there” thing makes it seem more like an action than him actually saying it, so it might help to think of it as comforting the person, not just saying, “there, there”.]
There’s only one kind of present in the world for holidays.
On days like Birthdays, Valentine’s day, and holidays [T/N: the word he uses can also mean anniversary] I want to spend them together. All guys think this way! But in my case, I want to surprise the girl I like with a handmade "only one in the world" present. [T/N:Thanks to hisakolychee for helping me out with this last line :) ]
Before going to sleep, let me hear your voice.
If I like someone, in one day I’ll want to contact them as many times as I can. Also, at the end of the day I want to call them. Because even if it’s just for one minute, I want to hear her voice (laughs). The "I want to love more than be loved" kind of feeling? I think I’m the devoted type.
