Well, it's been an awfully long while since I bothered to update my journal....
But! I do have a very good excuse! I was in Japan for most of my summer, and couldn't find time to get online!
My trip was splendid! I stayed with a host family in Saitama prefecture. We did a lot of cool things, if your interested, ask me about it! ^^

GOAL!!!!
We won our first game of the season!! Wish I could say the same for varsity, but I can't. Soccer is the best sport ever! Can't wait for our next game!!
I also updated my story, so life is all good!
Not much else to say. Testing begins tomorrow, so I won't have time for awhile! -
Tests, the Movies, and Mardi Gras
Test in Chinese class today . . . ugh. . . If it hadn't been open book I would be failing that class. I just can't seem to get the characters memorized! I can read pinyin just fine, but the characters throw me for a loop. It wasn't very long either, but the amount of characters astounded me! I prefer Japanese writing.

Viruses, Mail, and Chinese New Year!
Wow, well over Winter Break my computer received a wonderful little present: A nice little virus. After a week without a computer, my dad finally decided we would just delete my computer and start over again. He was able to back up most of my documents and such, plus my IM contacts, but my email contacts are all gone, which is a nightmare. I can't ( Read more... ) -
It's Saturday- Doyoobi desu!
I always forget how much I love Japanese class. I love Japanese in general. Conjugating verbs in Japanese is the best thing ever! I think it has to do with how the alphabet is set up, where everything comes in sets, not single letters (in furigana).

Photography
I love photography! It is probably one of my favourite things to now. I spent the past three class periods in the dark room developing, and I'm very proud of what I've gotten out of it: three beautiful black and white prints and a sepia print. The sepia I did today, which took the entire period!

First Post/Test Post
Just a test post, I suppose.
I'm in a bit of a slump, you see. No ideas to write, no ideas to draw, no one to talk to. It's really quite lonely today. Perhaps things will be better tomorrow.
Maybe I will think of something clever to write. Just not today.
