Anime convention! C:
This was my third time going to Fanexpo. My fifth anime convention, and I can honestly say it was terrible and awesome at the same time.
There happened to be a lot more people this year than ever before, which was a little surprising. Not just that though, but it was a totally different area of the building. After exploring for awhile we decided to go out and eat. After we cam back, at around on, the Re-entry line was fairly big, it was surprising. It turns out that the building was 'too-full' and they weren't letting anyone back inside. Despite the fact that they were still selling tickets and letting those people inside. There was lots of un-happy people shouting for refunds and such. They started playing some extremely annoying Mario-type music to drown out the noise.
After about an hour and forty minutes they started to let people back in. First just three, than five, then ten, than twenty. We all had to smush up close to the windows just to stand a chance of getting in. Luckily enough, we got in fairly fast. It was so hard though, there was a man trying to push me out of the way, and getting in between my sister and friend, we were pretty much stuck. One of the staff ladies pushed him off and yelled. "You're disgusting! There's little girls trying to get in!" Which wasn't an understatement, we were definitely very little in that crowd O.o
When we got back in exhausted, sweaty and possibly sun-burnt, we all felt pretty crappy. There was a korean man though, who was stuck in line, who stopped me and said. "Can I please get your picture? I've been waiting so long for this!" In a fairly thick accent. It was so cute! C: So that made me much happier after that waiting.
When we got back in we all finally bought some things. My sister bought lots of candy, and a few books. My friend got a hat, and I bought a backpack and a manga. All in all, it was fairly good, but I really wouldn't want to re-live that hour and a half in that mob (Despite the fact that I blessed enough to be stuck beside two of the cutest guys ever~)
We didn't get a whole lot of pictures, because there wasn't too many cosplayers, and it was too crowded to even try to get their pictures. So we had a great experience and suffered at the same time C:
