Mew~!

 It's been awhile, hasn't it~?

The weather was rainy today, which really was a nice difference, since it's been so hot out this summer. I haven't done much for the past few days since Demi hasn't been around. I'm beginning to think I should probably get some more friends.

Gradutation

I graduated from elementary school in June. We had a really big grad, actually. We were the biggest class of grade eights they'd ever had in a long time. Grad was nice. Everyone looked so pretty and formal, and just calm and sweet. I went for a more Retro-glam-rock look then everyone else. It didn't occur to me that I'd be the only one doing it, so I ended up standing out more than I'd expected. (Not that I'm complaining. ;D ) I got lots of compliments, which is always awesome~! And had a really great time with all my classmates overall. I'll miss 'em. :')

Tennis

This summer I've played lots and lots of tennis, almost every single day! This really is a record for me and Demi, since we used to go about once a month. I've improved a lot in my serves, even though that was always my strongest point. My weakest point was aim, and it still is, but I have improved significantly since the beginning of summer.

Drama

There has been a little bit of drama around too though. Scratch that. I wouldn't necessarily call it drama, since it's not too too  big of an issue, but it is still a bit of a problem.  It has to do with Me, Demi and Suki. (Sometimes I forget that Suki's just a nickname.. ^^'') Well, to begin things. Suki is a year older than us, but she was held back a grade, hence how we met her. She was held back a grade because her mother thought she couldn't handle it. They were going to hold her back another year, but her mother didn't want her to be too far ahead from kids her age. I'm trying to put this as gently as possible, but Suki doesn't think on the same level as us, persay. She's not retarded, just slow.. It's not her fault, it's just that it's harder for her to learn things at the same pace.

Suki tends to say things sometimes, that well, aren't very nice. The biggest problem though, is that she doesn't realize this. She can really be mean sometimes, and laugh it off as if our feelings aren't important. The thing that ticked me off the most was when she called me the 'second thought.' She told me one day. "I'm glad we can hang like this. I'm always so bored without Demi around, but you as a second thought is kinda fun too." Honestly? What am I supposed to say to that?  'Uhh? Thanks.' It ticked Demi off a little too, but it got shrugged off eventually when we never mentioned it again.
The second time was when Suki was talking to Demi. Now, Demi and her mother are really, very close. And they tend to argue a lot because they are so similar.  They always get closer afterwards though, which is always pretty sweet. Suki and her mom are close, but very different people, they never argue, because they don't want to risk each others feelings. Her and her mother are always so sweet mother-daughter lovey-dovey, it just seems so forced. But one day, ( I wasn't there, I just heard about it from Demi.) Suki told Demi, and I quote, " Me and my mother love each other the way you and your mother don't."  Is she that blind? Even my parents, we have only met Demi and her mother twice at most, could tell how close they were.  Demi was very offended by this, and she hardly gets that offended.
The last time was just a week ago, when Suki invited us to go to the movies. She said she would pay for all of us, she would just be bringing her brother too since they hadn't hung out in awhile. I wasn't exactly pleased at the moment with Suki (That second thought thing was said really coldly, okay? D: ) so I said I didn't want to go. Which was fine, they said they could just go together. So just an hour before they'd leave ( I was at Demi's house at the time, playing sims.)  Suki calls her up to say which movies. When she was finished she said. "Oh yeah, and I hope your mom doesn't mind driving us." This was the one thing that made Demi snap. Suki knows for a fact that Demi's mother is a single parent working day and night who doesn't have that kind of time currently. Her mother is doing very well at work, she is her own boss, currently. Which is amazing. Suki wanted her to call her mom and ask her to take a break and drive them to the movies. When Demi absolutely refused this, Suki replied with "Than tell Mimi to come, so her Dad can drive us." Demi replied "No. Mimi doesn't want to go." And than Suki had the balls to tell her to call my dad and ask them to drive them to the movies, without me. Demi snapped at her on the phone for this, telling her she couldn't use people like that and hung up. The whole time Suki was using us to get a ride to the movies for her and her brother.

We kinda let the whole thing slide past, and forgot about Suki for awhile. We both realize her thinking level is below ours. But that is no reason to pity her every move . Besides, she'd never acted this way before, She's been kinda different this summer. She sent Demi a message over facebook asking her "When should we go to the movies instead?" Pretty ballsy, I must say. To which Demi replied with her honest feelings about how she feels about her and how she would kindly not want to speak to her for awhile..or ever.
Woah. That was actually more drama than I realized. ._."

Future Plans
On a happier note, Our next anime convention is coming up at the end of summer~! I'm so so excited. Me, Demi and my sister 'Taiga' will be going. We're all going in a group cosplay : ) The anime is Prince Of Tennis. I'll be going as Ryoma Echizen, Demi will be going as Momoshiro Takeshi, and Taiga will be going as Dan Taichi~! Me and Demi have been planning our Ryoma and Momo cosplays since grade 6, but never got the chance. Now, two years later, we can finally do it! And since Taiga was going, we wanted her to be part of the fun too, we all decided Dan would be the best choice for her, since she is so short, and cutesy. My sister Taiga is two years older than us, but you'd probably never be able to tell, we are both much taller than her, and we are considered short. She is very very short~!

We are planning to have a photoshoot before the con, and one after. Our costumes are still in the makings, but they will probably be done soon. Me and Demi already have our wigs, now we are just waiting for Taiga's. My wig looks very much like Ryoma's hair. His is black, and long-ish (compared to the rest of the cast.) But when the light is shining on him, his hair has highlights of green and blue. It's not a very important detail, but we managed to find a good wig that had the same effect. The only problem is that in the sunlight, it looks completely blue, without a tint of black. And in the darker lights, it just looks black-ish green-ish.

Demi's wig was difficult to find, and we still need to alter it a little. Hers is spiked up completely, and black. Seems like pretty simple hair. But finding the wig was next to impossible. We managed to find a retro party mullet wig, that was perfect aside from the mullet in the back. Considering Momo already has a mullet, we didn't need to cut off much. It looks pretty good so far, actually, even without work. It has highlights of brown in it. It looks a little too big for her head, so we'll have to alter that a bit, but I think we're good. As for Taiga's wig, we ordered a Hetalia 'Japan' wig, because it looked perfect for her. Only time will tell how perfect it will actually be in real life, but it should be here soon. If she ever wanted to do a Japan cosplay, she'd be able to now. Haha~! : D
