so i went to visit castleton state college today and i realized even more that this is the place that i want to be a year from now. it's a decent size camp with just over 1,000 people there, so not too big. it's extremely rural and pretty close to okemo mountain, so maybe i can finally learn how to ski. i would get lost in a big city and i like the feel of a small town, so it works.
we were gone most of the day. we didn't get home until 6:30. we got lost on the way up there for about an hour and we were a half hour late for it. then on the way home we stopped to eat and watch a moose.
thanksgiving is looking grim. i don't want my brother's wife here. she doesn't wash her hair and refuses to put her infant into a crib, do i want this person in my home? no. as an added bonus, cyberquest only gave me every saturday for the next month. who the fuck do i have to sleep with to get decent hours? i'm planning on looking for a new job.
