Please find an English translation of 'UNBREAKABLE' from me. This is a song from Koichi's solo CD single 'Deep in your heart / + MILLION but - LOVE' and the music was composed by Kochan. I've also included the Japanese original and a romanization.

Any mistakes or errors are my own and do let me know if you spot anything. Many thanks!

Japanese

どんな未来も 今の二人を
奪うことなどできない

もしも愛を畏れぬ者が
咎めるのだとしても

こんなに美しい目で
肯く君がいる
命懸けて 守ることを
誓うのさ

Because it’s unbreakable
たとえ今夜 この夜が崩れようと
二人の強い思いだけは
誰にも 壊せない

孤独な街さ いつからここに?
生まれた時からと You said

いくつの愛が罪と呼ばれて
千切れてしまっただろう

どうしたのかは言わずに
潤んだその瞳
もうどこまで行ってもいい
止まらない

Because it’s unbreakable
たとえ明日 この世界 迷おうとも
二人を結ぶ絆だけは
誰にも 壊せない

こんなに美しい目で
肯く君がいる
命懸けて 守ることを
誓うのさ

Because it’s unbreakable
たとえ今夜 この夜が崩れようと
二人の強い思いだけは
誰にも 壊せない

Unbreakable (Unbreakable 今)
たとえ明日 この世界 迷おうとも
二人を結ぶ絆だけは (Ah 絆だけは)
誰にも 壊せない

このまま抱きしめていよう
壊れるくらい

English

No matter the future,
No one can take away the two of us now

Even if those who don’t fear love are blamed

With those beautiful eyes
You’re nodding in agreement
I vow to protect you with my life

Because it’s unbreakable
Even if tonight this night crumbles and falls
No one can destroy our strong feelings for each other

In this lonely city, how long have you been here?
Since I was born, you said

How many loves have been called sins
And torn to shreds?

Without saying what’s wrong
Those eyes brimming with tears
It doesn’t matter how far I have to go
I won’t stop

Because it’s unbreakable
Even if tomorrow we are lost in this world
No one can break the bond that binds us together

With those beautiful eyes
You’re nodding in agreement
I vow to protect you with my life

Because it’s unbreakable
Even if tonight this night crumbles and falls
No one can destroy our strong feelings for each other

Unbreakable (Unbreakable now)
Even if tomorrow we are lost in this world
No one can break the bond that binds us together (Ah the bond)

For now let me hold you tightly
Until we break

Translation Note:

There’s a few expressions that when you translate to English, it gets a bit lost… I tried to keep the meanings as close as possible where I could. In particularly, the verb kowareru can be translated as ‘to break’, although sometimes other choices are better, and I wasn’t always able to use this translation in English as it’s just not natural in some idioms.

In particular ‘No one can destroy* our strong feelings for each other’ … ‘No one can break our strong feelings’ just felt a bit too awkward, so I switched to ‘destroy’ which is the same meaning here. However, I was able to keep it as ‘break’ when referring to breaking or destroying their bond.

And of course, the last line, ‘For now, let me hold you tightly until we break’ is really awkward. If I were to translate this out of context, I’d not even address the kowareru… as it’s really just emphasis how tight, and maybe even if I had to use ‘break’, I’d probably say ‘hold you until I break’ but since this song is ‘unbreakable’ and the theme is not breaking the two of us… and it’s the last line, I tried to keep it in despite its awkwardness in English. I think it also gives a slight ambiguous feeling in the Japanese, but by using this awkward expression it becomes a little too explicit in English unfortunately.
