dayone.
today started out as a dready grumpy day. i reached home at 4am last night after going out to celebrate wanping's birthday at kbox. had a lesson at 8am but then i had already made up my mind not to go for it since its a gem anw, and aimed instead for the core lecture at 10am. so i woke up, sleepy and grumpy and unwilling to start getting back into school mode. was having trouble finding smth to wear and then arrived at the busstop to find that i had just missed my bus. so i sat down to wait, though fortunately the bus did not take too long to come. and then i found that i did not bring my ez link card because it had been left in the pouch i brought out ytd.. -_- all i had on me was a $5 note but it was my lucky day that the first lady i approached had 5 $1 coins! what's the chance rite? so i paid $2 for my first fare. at the second busstop, i decided to change a $1 coin so that i would be able to give exact change. because of that, i missed my bus and ended up 15mins late for a 1hour lecture.. haiyarh.
but by then, things were taking a serious turn for the better. i had yingqi next to me during lecture. terenze came down to join us after. daniel then came to pass me this personalised hp leather straps he made for me on his summer term in toronto. i was like damn touched that he got me smth so pretty though i had asked him for a souvenier as a joke! and then yingqi actually carried an extra ezlink card around with her so i was saved! 3 of us went to the canteen for a drink before yingqi's next lecture and before ter and i went off and then i met geraldine and a bunch of others in the canteen and it was just really nice to be back in school, year3s, knowing people and seeing familiar faces. not familiar faces in that hey hello way, but in that genuninely nice to see you again way:) then i left to meet xw in town for the movie UP! and was ambushed by ian and duans at the busstop. by the time i was on the bus, i was feeling so blessed and happy and cheery. the weather was great. i sent a text out to the angels in my life <3
UP was great though i expected to have a really enjoyable time laughing away at what i thought would be a hilarious animation full of wit and fun but i ended up crying a lot more because it was soooo heartwarming.. seriously.. catch it. i wouldn't mind catching it again myself:)
