This life is so interesting. Yesterday I had nothing better to do and no better sense so I went floating the river with Frank and Scotty. And ... I happened to drink a lot of Gin-orade and smoked a little (too much) weed. And I think it's amazing how much I like being out of my regular state of consciousness

I think you’re right about this experience being one that will help mold you. That’s what life is. It is a chance for us to discover who we are and to let that discovery direct our path by helping influence the way we live our lives. This being said, continue to explore your thoughts and your self but be very careful about (ab)using drugs and alcohol. I would give this advice to anyone I know who is doing the same thing you are but I do it in a far plainer way for you, Brooke, because you are one of my closest, dearest, and oldest friends and I worry and fear when I hear that you’re doing things like this to yourself
