Recap week ending Sunday 12/08/2012

I am of the camp who thinks the week starts on a Monday (星期一) and ends on a Sunday. The brain finds it hard to reconcile when thinking of Sunday as the first day of the week because Monday, in mandarin, should then translate to Day 2?!

The hubby collected the new toy on Tuesday. The husband merrily posted on FB,"Just got delivered yesterday, I've told the wife it's a mid-life crisis car!" Kekeke, I teased him (based on the car options he presented me with) that he's looking for a mid-life crisis car when he started thinking about changing cars. As per normal, once he decided he wants a new car, it doesn't take long for him to start a full-on search for THE car, and once found, he buys it pretty quick. Reminds me of the other very important man in my life. Dad went out one day to fill up his car. Hours later (much to the family's bewilderment what took him so long to fill up a car) he came home and happily announced he bought a new car.

So for all in the know, yup, they know I'll never say no to a fast car :p

I still don't think its mid-life crisis enough. But, he's got a few years to go yet :p

Thursday I went for my 7th Pilates session in 8 weeks. I like this new instructor. She makes me work. I like it when I can feel those muscles aching slightly the next 2 days :)

Saturday was spent pampering ourselves. A 3-hour massage, wrap, facial, manicure and pedicure :D The husband saw the package on Groupon and it was too good a deal to pass on. So we booked ourselves in for the first available Saturday. *bliss* Love pamper sessions!!

And Sunday was off to the trusty Hungarian restaurant for a good feed. They had been closed for more than a month while the owners went home for a holiday. We missed the hearty food very very very much and had to turn up the first weekend they reopen! It definitely did not disappoint!! :D

And of coz I had my FAVOURITE beer at the Hungarian restaurant.
