Brushing off the dust
Soooo …. crickets chirp
I've been off the radar for quite some time. My Torchwood fancies have crashed and burned, alas, and I've not found a new fandom that truly catches my eye (I tried, BBC Sherlock, I really did). However, my affection seems to have returned to a very old fandom of mine - the X-men.
Right now, I'm mostly trying to salvage my very old fics that are on the edge of disappearing forever and perhaps to finish some old ones as well. I must admit that the most recent movie did catch stir my fanfic impulses a little bit. However, the relative isolation of the characters - Eric is implied to be pretty alone, Charles has Hank but Hank is still clearly a youngster, not an equal. Logan is likely in the hands of Stryker (I am totally ignoring the Mystique eyes at the end because that blows almost all of Logan's origin story completely out of the green lit water) make figuring out what to write about (as I generally focus on sex relationships) difficult.

Because these are so old, they don't exactly fit with the adjusted canon of the Marvel Movie exceptionally well. But, hey, slash and femslash and history all at once!
