Help end gay 'cures'
The 'gay cure' movement has been taking (thankfully!) hits as leaders in the movement come clean and state the treatments they once espoused don't work (http://www.nytimes.com/2012/07/07/us/a-leaders-renunciation-of-ex-gay-tenets-causes-a-schism.html?pagewanted=all). Hopefully, in a few years, or a decade, these groups - and their philosophy - will be truly dead but, right now, Desert Stream is touring in ten different countries promoting their awful work.
Help stop them. There's a petition out that will be sent to all ten countries where the organization plans to hold their sessions. The petition needs to be sent to France by Thursday and is still barely over half-way there. If you want to put your name to ending a harmful practice that even their own leaders are beginning to deny, take a look at the petition and see if you want to sign and boost if you can.
