WOW!  I have been gone for sometime.  I apologize for my tardiness, as I have been requested to update by a few people.  A lot of changes have occured since my last update.  LJ has changed a lot as well.  I don't know if I like or hate the new page.

Anyways, I have changed majors yet again.  I'm an official English major.  I took a career services test, and it came back suggesting careers such as college professor, lawyer, public relations director, librarian, editor, author, and a few other related positions.  I am really glad I did this because it just "feels" right.  I especially feel confident with my choice after having a confrence with my English 1108 professor.  She said that she was actually suprised I wasn't an English major because I'm very talented in the field, and she was even more impressed when she learned I was only 18 and just out of high school.  This really reaffirmed my decision.  I have already scheduled for next semester, and I now need to change my classes.  I cannot do that online until the very beginning of next semseter in January.  I am going to talk to my English Professor and ask for her assistance in changing my schedule.

Some other recent good news... I finally finished my Computer Concepts and Application class.  I managed to get all of the work done, and I was able to take the final on Tuesday.  I feel so relieved not to have to worry about that anymore.

Thursday was a day of slow destressing.  After Intro to Intelligence was over, I turned in my Political Assessment and that took some stress away.  With student government elections at 12:30, I still had some stress.  Fortunately, that was gone by 1:30 for my meeting with Dr. Long.  At 3:00 I was able to turn in my 10 out-of-class activities to my Freshman Seminar teacher, and finally that completed my destressing.  It felt so good to get rid of all of those stressors before the holiday. Now I must read Assembling California by John McPhee and write a 4-6 page report on it for Geology, read Psychology of Intelligence Analysis by Heuer for intelligence, and finally, work on my 50-word vocabulary project for Dr. Long.

Thursday, I obtained the Freshman Senator position in Student Government.  It was a narrow win, but look at how many narrow lost I have had in my life.  A win is a win, and a lost is a lost.  I'm really excited about it, and look forward to it when returning after the break.

I also joined the Honors Program this month.  Which leads to my three and kinda four honors classes I'll be taking next semester: American Government, Speech, and Theatre Appreciation.  Dr. Baker may give me an Honors seat in his Western World Lit I class to make up for the Written English II that I did not get to take.

Well, that's a pretty quick summary of everything that has been going on.  I hope to update soon!
