I think our young protagonist was on to something here when she disagreed with happy endings.   I for one have came to the realization everything ends

Excellent movie... Well, I'm not sure if these fit with the whole "unhappy endings" but they're certainly movies that don't have perfect pretty people with perfect lives:
Ghost World
Force of Nature-personally I hate this movie, but it fits kinda
The Green Mile-such a tearjerker... so unfair too
Garden State-okay so this one has a kinda happy ending, but the characters are so crazy, and I LOVE IT
Seven-okay so there are a few pretty people in it lol but whoa the ending...

Silence of the Lambs, Red Dragon, Hannibal
American Beauty
I'm sure there are more...
