It appears that I have been quiet. Too quiet in fact. And what's more... so many others have made great... steps forward in asserting themselves ( Read more... )

So what you're saying basically is..."Blah blah blah, I'm so smart and your all dumb and I'll win in the end."

Go crawl under a tissue you overgrown booger.

How droll. You missed the point.

Let me put it this way, my insipid friend.

What makes you different from, say, an adversary, who, along with his digimon partner, has an equalm amount of determination and emotional drive to you.

What really seperates you? What makes one of you better?

When two equal but opposite forces clash, the result is stagnation. Or in some cases violence. I am merely trying to help you see that.

What makes me better is what I'm fighting for, who I'm fighting for and what drives me to always be more determined then others.

It's the reason that no matter how many times I get knocked down I get back up.

People throw morals aside alot these days to get what they want but I think that just proves they're worth more now then ever.

And I'm sure your opposition would make a similar case. But please. Morals have no quantifiable power of their own.

Ugh the only thing worse then a giant talking boogerman is one who uses big words to sound smart.

Morals, emotions and all the other junk that helps us hold onto our humanity might be the single most important thing we have. The Titans have fought back the devil himself and saved the universe several times but because we always remember at the end of the day we're human and we fight for certain things we avoid nasty little things like ya know, hurting people just because we can. Taking for granted the gifts we have or the people in our lives.

Yes, but they have no meaning or function in battle, and especially not in this darwinistic world we've been thrown into.

Sure they do, they keep us from going to far. From crossing the lines we don't wanna cross and doing the things that would change us from human to monsters.

And yet sometimes monsters win.

Sometimes...but if that never happened there wouldn't be any need for people like me.

Pure idealistic hogwash. The fact that you can't prove your words without simply spouting inspid, child-like statements that belong in a children's program is proof enough.

You'd be amazed the strength ideals can give some one, and I mean you specifically because I can't imagine how boring the world must be for you when you think like that.

Oh please. I am quite capable of entertaining myself without prancing about like some do-gooder.

Your little claim that life is somehow richer on the side of the so-called "light" has no substance to it. Have you ever been in a debate before? You must prove your statements before they hold merit.,

Consider this as well. The former leaders of Sanctity believed what they did was right in betraying their former master and discriminating against dark digimon. They considered themselves heroes, and to be doing the right thing. And yet, now they are deposed and locked away.

Heroes don't always get the recognition they deserve, but at the end of the day that's not why heroes do what they do.

You've heard history is written by the winners right dude? Well that's part of deciding what's right and wrong. learning from those who came before you. The majority may not always be in the right but if you are then it won't matter.
