[AUDIO]

It appears that I have been quiet. Too quiet in fact. And what's more... so many others have made great... steps forward in asserting themselves.

One might doubt his ability to compete with such... staggering opposition.

But the tenacity of us... biological entrepreneurs should not be under-estimated. I have had time to consider my place in this world. And one might think it better to simply... throw in the towel when there's such a... large group of individuals that are already fulfilling the niche that I fill myself.

But then again, such a group is filled with people I despise. Dr. Kurata has apparently combined himself with a digimon, forsaking the wholesomeness of genetics for data manipulation. And do not get me started on that man Robotnik, who both builds and consorts with machines. I myself prefer to see them manipulated and tortured.

Speaking of which, Zero, how are you?

But then again, we are not in a business as it were. Think about it. This world functions under a concept of evolution. It is much faster, but those who fight and win the most battles evolve and take on the strongest forms. Even a force of will, a drive to survive through even the most... dire of odds is a factor in driving the improvement and perpetuation of life here.

It is beautiful in a way, no?

And this cycle goes on, transforming even the most hopeless of situations into unbridled success. But yet, I wonder. How many times have men like me and my former employer crawled out from under the rock? How many times have so-called heroes snatched victory away in the face of hopelessness? I do not believe an abstract concept of morality defines success in this world... a hollow concept of right and wrong, and purity... merely, it is the force of individual or collective will.

Those so-called superior forces that have lost when smaller groups prevailed... they had grown complacent. And in a world where emotion is a force of nature, of course their drive was smaller. The victories of this world are not the result of any innate superiority, moral strength... it is due to a little understood natural law unique to this digital world that favors the under-dog.

But what then, will happen when all of these separate, equal wills, clash and compete with each other? Will the conflict of this world perpetuate like some kind of cycle? Or will it invite calamity? Either way, it will not be the glorious victory many of you hope for.

In the end, I, Meltdown, shall be there to watch, and reap the rewards, as your so-called future crumbles as it is eaten away by the acid of gall and disappointment.

hey he's alive, log post, meltdown is a dick
